The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 97

Chapter 97

Ellinor’s expression was casual as her playing shifted from n random pluck to a rhythmic strum. The song she was playing was exactly the one from the guitar sheet music Yvette had initially given her

Downstage, the faces of the students turned from dissatisfaction to confusion, then admiration and intoxication.

Yvette and her friends were stunned

They didn’t expect Ellinor to actually play the song!

As the situation took an unexpected turn, it was crucial not to panic. Yvette’s friends started to nudge her.

“Yvette, don’t be fooled! You sing tool”

“Yeah, Yvette, drown out Ellinor with your voice!”

“Yvette, don’t forget to dancel”

With the prodding of her friends, Yvette came back to her senses. Once she caught the rhythm, she started singing her own lyrics, twirling and dancing.

She sang her heart out, trying to pull the student’s attention onto herself, outshining Ellinor!

In fact, she succeeded. Some of the students did turn their attention to her.

So, Yvette danced with even more vigour

But who would have thought, the rhythm of Ellinor’s playing accelerated. Her fingerwork was so fluent and it didn’t look like she was a first–timer!

The song got faster and faster, but it never went off key or missed a beat. This was definitely a mark of high skill level.

Yvette’s singing and dancing obviously couldn’t keep up with the rhythm anymore. But she wouldn’t give up, she sang and danced faster

However, the faster she sang, the less stable her breath became. She didn’t even have time to catch her breath, let alone dance. She got dizzy and fell uncontrollably onto the stage, and looked embarrassed!!!

There was an uproar downstairs

Yvette fell!

“How can she be unfamiliar with the song she wrote herself!”

“Yvette sounded like she was out of breath, Ellinor’s violin performance was better!”

“Yes” Ellinor proves her genius once again. She’s not even from music major, but she plays the violin so well!”

Yvette was down, and Ellinor stopped playing her song

She glanced at Yvette, who was unable to get up, then addressed the crowd “Yvette’s song is a modern style, which can be played on a violin, but it’s not quite right. Let me play a song that suits the violin!”

“Great!”

‘Cant wait!”

“Start, Ellinor, we’re listening!”

Ellinor nodded and smiled, “This is for my soon–to–be parting classmates. Forgive me if it’s not well played.”

The girl gently pulled the violin strings, the melody was light, embodying courage and tenacity

it was touching, a perfect blend of strength and softness.

As the song ended, the place quieted down.

Everyone was still absorbed in the thrilling melody

The first applause came from the terrace across

Ellinor turned her head and saw Theo?

Theo stood there clapping nonchalantly, his applause crisp and vigorous

On his cool handsome face was a faint smile, as if he was appreciating and mocking at the same time.

When did Theo get there? How long had he been there?

And his friends were there too! Were they all here for the show?

Especially that guy Byran, he looked somewhat dazed, snapping back to reality only to glare at her fiercely!

“Very good, very good! The violin sounds great!” Jonah laughed happily, leading the applause that immersed the students in the music. Suddenly, the applause was

thunderous.
