The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 746

Chapter 746

Ellinor stood up and dashed out of the coffee shop, afraid that Theo would leave if she tallied.

Belinda glanced outside the window and followed suit.

“Theol”

Theo was about to get into his car when he heard a familiar voice. He paused and turned around.

He saw Ellinor walk bnskly over and then casually jump into his arms like a child.

Theo instinctively held her, cradling her securely in his arms, “What brings you here?”

Ellinor hugged his neck tightly, “Waiting for you at home is so boring, so I decided to pick you up from work.”

A hint of warmth appeared in Theo’s eyes. “Pick me up? Aren’t you sweet?”

Ellinor laid her head on his shoulder and whispered, “Don’t you like it?”

Theo chuckled, “How could I not like you coming to pick me up? But you’re not supposed to be gallivanting around given your current condition. Just wait for me at home, I promise I won’t go anywhere else after work.”

Ellinor hugged his neck tighter, she said firmly. “What’s wrong with my current condition? I’m just pregnant, not sick! Theo, I’m not fragile. The doctor said moderate activity is good for the baby, so our child will definitely be healthy and strong”

Theo frowned, He wasn’t trying to limit her activities; he was just worried about her having any accidents outside. Besides, he was also worried that she might be targeted by those who had ill intentions towards the Blanchet Corporation, which could jeopardize her safety.

Theo held her, stroking her hair gently. He decided not to argue with her for now; they could discuss it properly when they got home.

The security guards on the side were taken aback by the scene. They worked at the company for years and had never seen Theo with such a gentle expression. This was definitely an eye–opener.

Theo glanced at them and then said to Collin, “You guys can knock off work now.”

“Understood, Mr. Blanchet.”

Collin watched Theo and Ellinor, feeling somewhat moved. He opened the passenger door for Ellinor, then left with the driver.

Theo walked Ellinor over to the car, carefully seating her in the passenger seat. He buckled her seat belt, “Didn’t you say you were going to treat me to a meal? Where are we going?”

Ellinor smiled, “I’ve already sent you the address, we can head there directly.”

Theo closed the door for her and then walked around to the driver’s seat.

Just as he started the car, someone hopped into the back seat.

Belinda crossed her arms, looking disgruntled, “Theo! You made up with Ellinor and didn’t even tell me?”

Theo glanced up, seeing Belinda in the rear–view mirror, “Are you my elder or something? Do I need to report my personal matters to you?”

Belinda immediately burst into laughter, “I’ve always been worried about you, Theo. I was afraid you might do something rash without Ellinor. If I knew you two had up, I would we breathed easier”

Rash? Theo’s expression turned serious, “Now you know, so get out of the car and go home if you have nothing else.”

Belinda had no intentions of leaving, “I overheard you’re going to have dinner with Ellinor, I’m also hungry, can I come along?”

Theo said impatiently “If you’re hungry, go home and eat. Get out of the car!”

Belinda pouted unhappily. She didn’t say anything more to the man in the driver’s seat; instead, she turned to Ellinor for help, “Ellinor, Theo doesn’t want to take me, but you will, right?”

Ellinor fell silent

She was actually a bit bothered because she knew Belinda definitely still wanted her help to pursue Chase.
