Veronica had cooled down by now and laughed, “Oh, Ellinor ran into an old friend at the mall. She said she wanted to catch up with him, so she told me to come back alone!”
Theo narrowed his eyes, “Old friend?”
“Yeah!” Veronica nodded and deliberately added, “Ellinor’s old friend is a guy, with blond hair. They seemed pretty close, no idea what their relationship is!”
Theo frowned and took a deep sip from his coffee.
Suddenly, Collin rushed in, “Mr. Blanchet, there’s been an incident!”
“What happened? Theo asked calmly, sipping his coffee.
Collin approached Mr. Blanchet and Veronica and explained, “There’s been a scandal at one of our hotels, which is bad for our reputation. This afternoon, someone anonymously reported room 3201 for prostitution. Two suspects were caught on the spot by the police.”
Upon hearing this, Veronica knew instantly that her plan had worked. She was secretly thrilled.
Ellinor, that bitch, would be kicked out soon! Haha, she deserved it…
