Ellinor pouted, “Alright, we’re just friends.”

Ellinor froze, staring into his affectionate eyes in surprise.

The man suddenly leaned in, his tall nose brushing against hers.

Ellinor snapped out of it, and blinked a playful smile at him, “Theo, didn’t know you had it in you!”
Theo raised an eyebrow, “Hm?”
Ellinor shrugged and spread her hands, “You know how to sweet–talk! Whether it’s true or not, what you just said really made me happy!”

Theo frowned, discontented, “Ellinor, listen to me. Every word I just said, every move I made was from the heart! I don’t have any experience, and I don’t understand feelings. I just tell you what I think, so don’t make things up in your head!”
His serious and sincere look made Ellinor’s resolve to sever any ties with him crumble in an instant.
She knew very well that this man’s status and identity could bring her lots of unnecessary troubles, but she just couldn’t push him away.
