The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 2743

Chapter 2743

“Thinking of calling the cops? As if they’d care about you! I just said a few words, and you really think you’re the only one who knows the law?”

Regina clenched her fists, fuming with rage as her chest heaved angrily. “You’re harassing me. You think you’re untouchable? And the filth that’s coming out of your mouth!”

But this guy was hell-bent on getting his way today. He lunged at her, wrapping his arms around Regina’s legs in a tackle.

Regina was brought to the ground with him.

“Ahh-”

She kicked out wildly, her feet connecting with the man’s face multiple times, eliciting groans of pain, but his grip didn’t loosen.

Just then, the homeless man suddenly threw off his ragged old coat and stood up, yelling, “What’s all this racket? Can’t a guy get some sleep around here?”

-Regina’s eyes brimmed with tears as she pleaded for his help with a desperate gaze.

The unexpected outcry startled the drunkard, loosening his hold, and Regina took the opportunity to scramble back.

But, in the end, the homeless man just shook out his coat and draped it back over his shoulders.

“Doll, quit struggling. It’s just us two, and he’s not gonna lift a finger to help you.”

Regina lowered her eyes, realizing she had put her hope in someone else-something she swore never to do again, knowing that relying on herself was the only sure bet.

Thinking she had given up, the drunkard staggered to his feet, spat into his hands, and wiped them on his shirt, chuckling, “Heh, let’s see how a fresh young girl tastes.”

What he didn’t anticipate was the sudden chill on his back as he approached Regin Before he could turn around, he felt the impact of a thick stick wielded by the homel man crashing down on him.

“Ahh-”

Regina quickly ran behind her unlikely savior.

The homeless man, now holding the stick, looked bewildered as the drunkard doubled over in pain.

Out of nowhere, Regina snatched the stick from his grasp and whacked the drunkard again, “That’s for harassing me, for thinking you’re the big man! You think I’m easy prey? Spit on that-You ever gonna mess with anyone again? You ever gonna harass another woman?”

As Regina struck and interrogated, the drunkard howled in pain, scrambling to answer her, “No more, I swear, I won’t! Stop, miss, my bad. Ow, it hurts, miss, I beg you, it’s my fault, I had too much to drink.”

Regina, her arms sweating from the effort, finally stopped. She planted the stick on the ground, panting heavily.

“Now you realize you’re drunk after getting a beating. Always an excuse, huh? I’m warning you, if you dare pull this kind of stunt drunk again, don’t blame me if I hit you right on the spot!”

Regina gestured menacingly with the stick near his groin, and he curled up instantly.

Meeting Regina’s fierce gaze, he had to admit he was truly scared; this woman meant business.

Regina raised the stick high, and the drunkard squeezed his eyes shut.

But, unexpectedly, the homeless man grabbed the stick, “Stop, one more hit could kill him.” Regina, fuming, let go of the stick, going with his pull.
