Chapter 2647
If she didn’t fit into the world of entertainment, it might be best for her to just wrap up her last movie, “Ballad of Valor”, and say goodbye to the field for good.
The fans wanted a treasure trove of Ivy’s work, but not at the expense of her happiness. Better to leave behind nothing than sacrifice her joy.
Their every action was spurred by love, and Ivy felt it deep in her bones.
As the lights brightened across the venue, Ivy strolled onto the stage. Dressed in an outfit that was the perfect blend of meticulous and casual, she gripped the microphone with a barely concealed excitement.
“Wow, did you guys enjoy the show up front?”
Their cheers rose, sensing her slight shyness, We loved it, super loved it-
“As long as you loved it, that’s what matters! It means all my rehearsals paid off. If you did, I’ll definitely host more events like this. Now, let’s chat. Any questions you’ve got, please lay them on me. We don’t get to talk like this very often.”
Ivy opted for the old lottery method to pick out who’d chat with her. Ideally, she’d have a moment with each fan, but time was far too precious for that.
The room was filled with her supporters, and their questions were nothing but gentle. They were more interested in her future plans, curious if she was eyeing any other scripts.
Seeing their eagerness, Ivy decided to address everyone at once about her career moves.
“I know what you’re all itching to know – my next work. Don’t fret, I’m all in on ga good one, and our team’s been in talks with top directors. If all goes well, a m be on the horizon.”
The news electrified the fans. Ivy had been through a lot since her debut, and they braced for the possibility that “Ballad of Valor” might be the end of her short career, especially now that she was the new Mrs. Howard. There was no need for her to endur any hardship in the field. Yet here she was, hinting at a return to the film.
Ivy offered a reassuring smile. “I get your concerns, but performance is my passion. I love it too much to let anything make me quit. If the day comes to leave it all behind, I’ll tell you well in advance.”
A chorus of fans replied in unison, “Yes, we’ll always be behind you.”
What came next was too significant. Against all odds, Balfour’s number was drawn. Out of four thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine fans, it was him.
Ivy froze on stage.
“Ha, is this for real? Was this set up? Is Ivy about to make an official announcement?”
“Looks like they’re both in shock. Doesn’t seem premeditated. And they’ve been semi-públic about their relationship anyways, why would they need to make it official now?”
Caught off-guard and under the spotlight, Balfour had no choice but to stand. The microphone was passed into his hands.
“Sir, you’ve got any questions for me?” Ivy asked, holding back laughter, her cheeks already blooming with a rosy tint.
Even Evadne and the other staff, who had been keeping the event running smoothly from below the stage, whispered among themselves, “Was this really not planned?”
