Chapter 2640
Evadne stood at a respectful distance, keeping her report brief and to the point. “The earliest batch of fans has been taken care of. They’re resting outside the venue now.”
She couldn’t fathom why Ivy was so obsessive about pleasing her fans, nonetheless, the results were undeniably pleasing to witness.
Their studio had the knack for trending on social media without spending a dime on marketing. No client was more hassle-free than Ivy.
“That’s good to hear. The pastries and iced lattes have arrived, right? And what about those with caffeine or polyphenol allergies? Are the alternative beverages ready?”
Evadne nodded, “You’ve reminded us plenty of times. We wouldn’t forget. Everything’s ready, and Mr. Howard has even arranged for some top-notch chefs to be on standby. Please rest easy; no other studio pampers their fans quite like you do.”
Ivy’s expression remained neutral. “I organize these fan meetings for them to see me. It’s only right to consider their needs as well. They’ve done a lot just to be here. Everything needs to be perfect for them.”
“I understand.”
“What about you? You haven’t eaten all day. Shall I grab some of the chef’s snacks for you?”
Ivy, aiming for peak condition, hadn’t eaten a thing and went straight on stage. The tactic worked; any signs of morning puffiness had vanished.

Evadne was about to insist when Balfour breezed in. She relaxed, knowing he would out Ivy’s nutrition.
Balfour handed Ivy fresh juice with a straw, “I know you can’t stomach much else, but please drink this. You’ll need the energy for the stage. You must eat something, or you won’t make it through.”
Ivy had poured immense energy into rehearsals, not just for dancing but also for playing the piano and singing – every talent was to be showcased for her fans. Even an iron man would falter on an empty stomach.
Around others, Ivy was the epitome of cool logic, but in Balfour’s presence, she let her guard down, her eyes begging for reassurance
Balfour playfully nudged her nose. “It’s just people who adore you. You’ve been looking forward to this, right? Don’t be scared.”
“Can I really make it through?”
“You’ll make it. Hard work never lies.”
Taking a deep breath, Ivy felt her confidence returning as her makeup artist worked her magic.
Ivy chose a fiery Latin dance to kick off the event, setting the tone with her vibrant, passionate makeup, featuring reds and glitter to reflect the fiery side of her personality that fans loved.
Balfour had never seen Ivy like this. While he always preferred her natural beauty, her made-up persona was equally mesmerizing. At that moment, he too felt like a smitten fan.
“You look stunning.” Balfour blurted out, prompting a giggle from the makeup artist and sending a blush creeping across Ivy’s face. She shot him a coquettish look through the mirror that melted his heart.
“Ivy, you are always stunning. Of all the celebrities I’ve worked with, your face is the canvas that lets my creativity soar.” The makeup artist reveled in the freedom of enhancing Ivy’s features without the constraints of covering imperfections, boldly crafting her look.
