To handle the issue concerning Ivy, she had decided to go straight to the lawyers-making clear their stance was paramount.

Alyssa’s lips curled into a knowing smile. “This young lady is my granddaughter-in-law. You understand now why I’m in such a hurry to get your help, right? These rascals have dared to sling mud at a member of the Howard family. Do you think I’d just sit by and do nothing?”
Her smile was warm, but the lawyers avoided meeting her gaze; the authority emanating from her eyes was not something their youthful confidence could withstand.
So, the rising star actress Ivy was the Howard family’s granddaughter-in-law!
This actress must have some serious talent to land a role in Colton’s movie right out of the gate.
Leo briefly skimmed through the documents and then offered a response. “Rest assured, Madam, this won’t be a tough nut for us to crack. But I need to know your exact objective-do you want to silence these people from mentioning her, or do you wish to convince the public of her innocence?”
