The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 2208

Chapter 2208

But when the flames of love ignited in her soul, there was no way she could remain indifferent.

“Aurora, you’re not me. You don’t understand. I really like him… I’ve never forgotten our talks and how we dreamed of leaving this dreary coastal village to see the world. And he, he’s part of the world I’ve come to know.”

Valor, lost in what she called love, seemed incomprehensible to the fiercely independent Aurora.

“Forget it. You’ve abandoned our dreams, all for your silly little crush. You’ve even given up on the best friend you ever had! When that jerk leaves you high and dry, don’t expect me

to care!”

With those angry words, Aurora stormed off.

In the harsh light of reality, Diana could not quite make such an effortless exit. In front of the camera, she inevitably stumbled.

She still had not fully recovered from her injured foot, unable to put full weight on it, and Ivy quickly stepped in to steady her.

“Are you okay?”

Diana offered an apologetic smile. “Sorry, everyone. Sorry, Director. We’re on the final take, and because of my slip-up, we have to reshoot. I’m really sorry.”

She was more concerned with apologizing than steadying herself, and everyone on set was visibly moved.

It

t was rare to find actors as dedicated as Diana these days. It was clear she truly loved her

craft.

“I also owe a

a big thanks to you for rushing over to help, Ms. Dunhill. I would’ve hit the deck hard just now if it weren’t for you.”

Diana clasped her hands in gratitude, her eyes filled with sincere thanks as she looked at Ivy.

Ivy managed a small smile, about to help her sit down, but Diana insisted on doing another take.

Ivy frowned, concerned. “Are you sure your foot can handle it?”

“Absolutely! That was just a fluke. As long as I keep my balance, we’ll nail this scene, and I’ll be over this hump.”

Diana leaned heavily on Ivy, showing her deep trust.

Ivy, though struggling, had no choice but to keep supporting her.

“Have you all lost your minds? Go give them a hand!” Colton scolded the dazed crew. They seemed oblivious to who was behind Ivy; it was disrespectful to treat her so neglectfully.

“It’s fine, Director. Ms. Dunhill’s got me. Let’s just shoot this, quick and clean.”

Diana suggested with a smile, and since she put it that way, Colton went along with her

plan.

Only one more take was needed, and it was not too difficult all she had to do was stand

firm.

As Ivy was about to release her hold, Diana suddenly cried out and then collapsed ontol the floor with a thud.

“You…”

Ivy was taken aback. Moments before, Diana had been leaning heavily on her; how had she fallen so suddenly?

Ivy squatted down quickly to check on Diana’s injury, but Diana shrank back and looked

with tear-filled eyes.

up

“Ms. Dunhill, what are you doing?!

“What? What did I do?”

Bewildered, Ivy was forced to brace herself for Diana’s reproach.
