The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1892

Chapter 1892

The man’s voice suddenly turned muffled, causing Ellinor’s heart to flutter.

“Alright! I was just joking!”

Theo held her close, not willing to let her go, “Honey, I promise you, none of this will happen again. We will never be apart again.”

Ellinor nodded, “Mmm, I believe you.”

The nurse brought Baber’s test results no problems, so they were cleared to leave the hospital.

Once home, all they’d need to do was ensure the wound stayed dry and change the dressing regularly.

Ellinor, along with Theo and Baber, went to her mother’s hospital room to notify them before they left.

At home, Marissa and Putnam were anxiously waiting for them. The atmosphere at the Blanchet Manor was somewhat heavy.

Several bodyguards in the living room were keeping a close eye on the three little ones, fearing another mishap.

Layla didn’t like the feeling of being watched. She pouted and went to Marissa to protest, “Great grandma, can you ask the men to stop following me? I’m not used to it; it’s ruining my fun!”

Tristan and Adrian also agreed, being watched all the time really was bothersome!

Marissa patted Layla’s head affectionately, “Sweetie, we are just worried about you. Did you see? Your brother Baber was kidnapped by the bad guys! It’s safer this way.”

Layla pouted, “But we’re at home! And besides, Dad and Mom already found Baber, right? Grandma, the bad guys were caught, so it should be okay now!” Adrian said, “Yeah, they even watch me when I go to the bathroom! I can’t even pee in peace!”

Tristan nodded vigorously.

It was true. Since last night, they had been under the watchful eyes of the bodyguards, without any freedom.

It was unbearable!

Marissa shook her head, “Be good! When your mom and dad come back, you can talk to them. If they agree, I will too.”

Layla grimaced, “Oh… okay.”

Adrian and Tristan had no choice but to comply.

At that moment, Veronica’s excited voice echoed from upstairs, “Grandpa, Grandma, Theo and Ellinor are back! I saw their car from the upstairs window!” Marissa was overjoyed, “That’s good to hear! If they’re back, that means Baber is okay. I was worried sick; I would’ve never forgiven myself if something happened!”

Putnam patted his wife’s shoulder, comforting her.

Upon hearing Veronica’s words, the three little ones couldn’t wait any longer. They ran outside with Veronica to greet their parents.

Of course, those annoying bodyguards were still following them closely, much to their annoyance!

When the car pulled up in the Blanchet Manor courtyard, Theo got out carrying Baber, with Ellinor following closely behind.

Veronica ran up first, “Theo, Ellinor, I’m so glad you’re back! Is Baber okay?”

Before they could respond, the three little ones rushed over and hugged Ellinor’s legs, surrounding her and chattering excitedly.

“Mommy, you’re back!”

“Mommy, how’s Baber?”

“Mommy, what happened to the bad guy? Did the police give him a good lesson?”

With so many questions from the children, Ellinor was at a loss whom to answer first. She knelt and pulled all three into her arms, comforting them, “It’s

all okay now; everything’s okay! Baber is fine, and the bad people have been caught. We won’t have these problems anymore.”
