The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1831

Chapter 1831

Ellinor was dumbfounded.

What on earth was he saying?! How could he say such things in front of someone who was basically her brother-in-law?

Ellinor pushed him with all her strength, trying to break free from his grasp.

The man wouldn’t let go, and she couldn’t free herself.

Just then, Devin returned.

“Ellinor, I found what you were looking for.”

At the sound of his voice, all three of them turned to look at Devin.

In Devin’s hand were garlic..

Only then did Ellinor find an excuse for the man to let go of her. “Let go of me. Can’t you see what I’ve been waiting for is here?”

The man didn’t know what she was going to do, but he obediently let go of her.

Ellinor stood up, took the garlic from Devin, and turned to swat them over Theo.

The man paused slightly but didn’t dodge because her hits didn’t hurt.

After swatting him with the garlic for a while, Ellinor handed them back to Devin and instructed him to throw them away.

Then, she sat back down in her original spot and said, “You just got back from being in a place that was holding you captive. This should help get rid of any bad energy.”

The man listened and smiled slightly. “Hmm, I really have a thoughtful wife. Now that the bad energy is gone, can we return to our room?”

Ellinor twitched her mouth.

Did this man think about anything else?

All he thought about was returning to the room and…

It was so embarrassing for poor Moran.

Moran indeed felt awkward, but he was genuinely happy for Ellinor. The man she had spent three years waiting for was finally back. It wasn’t easy.

He wisely stood up. “Ellinor, it seems like you and Mr. Blanchet have something to do, so I’ll leave first. If Veronica comes looking for me later, please tell her I’ll see her

tomorrow.”

Upon seeing Moran leave, Ellinor felt a bit embarrassed and tried to make him stay. “Would you like to stay for dinner? We are not busy; he was just joking. Don’t take it seriously.”

When Theo saw Ellinor talking to Moran, who once had feelings for her, his gaze turned unfriendly. His big hand circled around Ellinor’s waist from behind.

“Dinner time is still far off. We really do have some things to attend to.”

His suggestive words made Ellinor blush. She had enough and then turned to whisper in his ear. “He is now Veronica’s boyfriend. He’s your future brother-in-law. As the elder brother-in-law, carryou behave properly in front of him? Really!”

Upon hearing this, Theo’s eyes narrowed as he took another look at Moran. His tone was still serious, but no longer hostile. “When did you two get together?”

Being questioned by his girlfriend’s brother, Moran, who was about to leave, sat back down obediently. “Not long ago. It’s still a sort of new relationship.”

Theo raised an eyebrow. “What do you like about her?”

Moran felt a bit awkward. “Uh… I can’t quite put it into words.”

Theo snorted. “You dare to court our family’s girl without being sure of your feelings? Are you even serious?”

Moran looked determined. “I am serious about Veronica. Feelings are hard to express. Mr. Blanchet, can you express why you love Ellinor?”
