The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1827

Chapter 1827

Sophia’s heart sank further as she thought about all this. She had changed so much for Marcus. Why didn’t he like her? Why was he still so distant?

Where did she fall short?

Where did she go wrong compared to Ellinor?

Why?

Who could tell her why?

Sophia, who once firmly believed that she could move Marcus and make him fall in love with her over time, now had no hope for this idea.

But even so, she was unwilling to let go of the man she had worked so hard to keep by her side.

What was all that for then? Had she wasted these past three years?

Most importantly, she did not believe there was a better man than Marcus in this world. No one was more worthy of her than Marcus.

No one!

With a heart plagued by emotions of sadness, resentment, jealousy, anger, and stubbornness, Sophia got drunk at a bar alone and was finally taken back to the hotel by her father’s men.

When she woke up, her head was pounding. It was past nine; she didn’t remember sleeping for long. Why did she wake up so early? Anyway, she didn’t have to make breakfast for Marcus anymore.

It seemed like she was woken up by some noise.

As she was thinking about this, her phone rang again.

Sophia scratched her messy hair, picked up her phone, and answered the call.

The call was from her housekeeper back in M State.

“Miss! You finally picked up the call!”

Hearing it was her housekeeper, Sophia yawned as she asked, “Yeah, what is it? Did you pick up Marcus and Tristan?”

“No, Miss Sophia. Are you sure you got the flight number right? We’ve been waiting at the airport for a long time. We also checked, but there’s no record of Mr. Marcus. entering the country.”

“What?” Sophia sobered up instantly. “What did you say? Marcus hasn’t arrived?! That’s impossible! I personally saw him off on the plane yesterday. Have the airport check again!”

“We’ve checked many times already; there’s definitely no record of him entering the country! Miss Sophia, we’ve been trying to call you. You didn’t answer, so we checked even more times! There’s really no record of him entering the country! Maybe you should contact Mr. Marcus and ask him where he is.”

Sophia began to panic. She started losing it!

Marcus didn’t arrive in M State?! There was no record of his entry?!

Where could he be?! Where could a disabled man who couldn’t stand on his own go?!

Yesterday, she really personally saw him and Tristan off on the plane and arranged for her father’s men to sit next to them. How could they have disappeared?!

Without time to think too much, Sophia hung up the housekeeper’s call and immediately dialed Marcus’ number.

But it was switched off. Sophia felt even more uneasy. She hurriedly got up and ran out of the suite to find her father.

She knocked on the door both anxiously and restlessly, causing Thaddeus to open the door with a bit of annoyance, “What is it?! Why are you knocking on the door this early in the morning?! Are you trying to scare me to death?!”

Sophia didn’t have the patience to care about her father’s attitude. She was too panicked to care. “Dad! Daddy! Marcus is missing! He didn’t go back home! You have to help me contact the people you sent to accompany him!,Ask them where Marcus is! Hurry up!”

Thaddeus’ eyebrows furrowed. He was also a little surprised. “What? He’s missing?”
