The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1809

Chapter 1809

Sophia was well aware that she wasn’t exactly a welcomed guest. This visit was simply to ruffle some feathers, particularly those of Ellinor.

While raising a glass of red wine, she smiled at the bride, Belinda. “Cheers to the blushing bride! Wishing you and your hubby a lifetime of wedded bliss!”

Belinda’s face twisted with repulsion. She looked like she was about to hurl. “Piss off! Who needs your well wishes? Get out! You weren’t invited to my wedding!”

Unfazed by Belinda’s outburst, Sophia casually turned to Ellinor. “Ellinor, no makeup for the wedding?”

Ellinor stared back with an icy gaze. “Do you have a problem with that?”

Sophia shrugged, all smiles. “No, not at all! I just think it’s nice to doll up for the bride and groom, you know? Show them some respect. You showing up like this… it’s like you don’t care about your friends’ big day.”

Before Ellinor could respond, Belinda beat her to it. “Get lost! You’re just stirring the pot! My girl, Ellinor, looks a thousand times better than you, even without a lick of makeup. You’re just a washed-up old witch who’s trying to cause trouble!”

Sophia’s smile faltered, just a little. “True enough! Ellinor, you’re a natural beauty. But tell me, why can’t such a beauty keep a man?”

Belinda was quick to retaliate. “What nonsense are you spouting? You’re the one who stole my uncle, trapped him, and kept him from returning to Ellinor! And you have the gall to say such things? You think you’re some man magnet? Don’t make me laugh!”

Sophia shot Belinda a look, then turned back to Ellinor. “Ellinor, don’t be so defensive. I’m not here to ruin the wedding. I’m here to tell you that my husband flew back to our home in M State this morning. I’ll be joining him soon. We’re trying to have a baby.”

Ellinor’s expression froze for a split second before she recovered. A cold laugh slowly escaped her lips. “Is that so?”

Sophia beamed. Her joy was apparent. “Absolutely! My husband can’t wait to start a family!”

The implication of her statement was clear to anyone who heard.

Ellinor didn’t say anything more, but Belinda looked ready to vomit. “Have you no shame? If you don’t leave. I’ll have security escort you out!”

Sophia simply smiled at Belinda. Her expression remained calm and smug. “Don’t worry, I’m leaving.”

She then turned to Ellinor as her voice began dripping with malice. “Don’t hold your breath for him to return, because it’s not going to happen. He’s mine now, in both body and soul. Every night, we share a bed, and he tells me he loves me.

He goes by the name Marcus now, and Marcus says he can’t stand boring women.

And you, Ellinor, you’re as dull as they come, you know that?”

Belinda couldn’t take it anymore. “Security! There’s a madwoman here crashing the party without an invitation! Get her out of here!”

Sophia gave Ellinor one last smirk before leaving. “Don’t wait for him. He’s not coming back to you. Better start looking for another man to marry, especially since you and my Marcus were never officially wed.”

With that, she turned on her heel and sauntered off.

Belinda yelled after her. Her anger was palpable. “I can’t believe her! That witch ruined my perfect wedding! Ellinor, don’t listen to her! She’s just trying to get under your skin! If you let her bother you, she wins!”
