The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1750

Chapter 1750

Ellinor’s brows furrowed deeply as soon as she heard this. “Don’t be ridiculous!”

Layla pouted. She wasn’t making things up; she truly felt like their older brother, Baber, was distancing himself from them.

Ellinor’s gaze drifted out the window. “Adrian, your brother is on the slide. Go get him and tell him Mommy is taking you to the amusement park.”

“Okay!”

Adrian, upon hearing the prospect of the amusement park, immediately scampered off.

Ellinor, carrying Layla, leisurely followed as her mind tried to decipher the rumors revolving around the kindergarten.

Adrian crawled into the mushroom-shaped playhouse on the slide, seeking Baber, who was huddled inside.

“Bro, Mommy’s here to pick us up. She said she’s taking us to the amusement park! Let’s go!”

Baber lifted his head to look at Adrian, then shook his head despondently. “I’m not going; you guys go.”

Adrian frowned in frustration. “Why not? Bro, don’t you love the park’s merry-go-round more than anyone? Let’s go play together!”

Baber curled up tightly and buried his head into his knees. “I won’t go… I won’t disturb you guys anymore.”

His voice gradually diminished, to the point where Adrian couldn’t make out what he was saying. He tilted his head in confusion as he asked, “Bro, what’s wrong?”

Baber remained silent; only the sound of his stifled sobs could be heard.

At that moment.

“Even if you don’t want to go to the amusement park with us, we still have to go home. Do you plan on spending the night here?”

He heard Ellinor’s voice, making him instantly lift his head.

After hearing Mommy’s voice, Adrian poked his head out of the playhouse. “Mommy, I think my brother’s not in a good mood. He doesn’t want to go to the amusement park. Maybe we can go another day.”

It was rare for Adrian to be understanding and willingly give up a trip to the amusement park.

Ellinor hummed in response. “You guys come down first. We’ll decide whether to go to the amusement park when we get in the car.”

Adrian agreed readily. “Okay!”

Then he turned around and pulled Baber up. “Let’s go, bro. Mommy’s waiting for us!”

Baber didn’t resist Adrian’s pull. He obediently followed him down the slide. However, he didn’t dare look at Ellinor’s face. He felt guilty, as if he had done something wrong.

Ellinor didn’t say anything for the time being. She led the three kids to the car and fastened their seat belts.

She had Adrian and Layla sit in the back while she brought the moping Baber to the front, gently fastening his seat belt.

Baber didn’t look at her the whole time; even his breathing was careful.

Ellinor then got into the driver’s seat. “Mommy is not going back to the office this afternoon. You three decide. Do you want to go to the amusement park for a while or go straight home?”

Adrian and Layla, the siblings who usually bickered a lot, surprisingly spoke in unison.

“We’ll listen to brother!”

“We’ll listen to brother!”

Ellinor turned her head to look at Baber, who was sitting in the passenger’s seat. “Your brother and sister will follow your lead. Baber, where do you want to go?”
