The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1682

Chapter 1682

Ida arrived at Central Hospital twenty minutes later.

As soon as she got out of the car, she rushed to the elevator in the underground parking lot. Unexpectedly, she ran into a familiar face as soon as she stepped inside

Sophia, the woman who had given her boss a hard time.

Sophia had just left a beauty salon, so the strong scent of beauty products was still clinging to her. It was so overpowering that it filled the entire elevator

As Ida got on the elevator, she noticed that Sophia was engrossed in her phone, allowing her to enter undetected.

She was heading from the basement to the first floor, so she was out of the elevator pretty quickly.

After watching Sophia leave the elevator, Ida followed her out and watched as she headed down the most secluded corridor on the first floor.

Ida found Sophia’s presence in the hospital a bit peculiar, but since she didn’t see anyone else with her, she didn’t overthink it. She returned to the elevator, ready to go find that rascal, Byran.

At this point, Byran had already received a text from Ida asking for his room number.

After he replied, he looked up at his father, who was looking much better. “Dad, could you do me a favor?”

Upon realizing that his son was earnestly asking him for something, McNeil nodded. “Sure, what is it?”

Looking somewhat embarrassed, Byran scratched his head and chuckled. “If you’re feeling a bit better, could you rest on the couch for a bit and let me use the bed?”

McNeil was at a loss for words.

Was this really his son?

His IV had already finished, so getting off the bed wasn’t a problem.

His son had already made the request, so how could he, as a father, refuse?

Besides, it was clear that Byran was expecting someone important. He decided to indulge him.

McNeil agreed. “Alright, I’ll wait over there and leave this space to you.”

With that, he slowly got up from the bed.

Byran felt a little guilty about his request. If his brother were here, he’d definitely give him a thrashing.

But if he got a separate room and left his dad alone here, he wouldn’t feel comfortable. This was the only solution.

He reached out to help his father, guiding him to the couch before dashing back to the bed. He quickly removed his shoes, got under the covers, and feigned a weak facade.

Not long after Byran had settled down, Ida walked in.

She seemed somewhat rushed. She adjusted the slightly askew gold-rimmed glasses on her face and looked down at Byran’s grimacing face. “How are you feeling?”

Byran groaned. “Ida, you’re here…”

Ida’s brow furrowed slightly. He didn’t sound too good. She asked again, “Why do you look so weakened? Where’s the injury? Let me see.”

Byran pursed his lips, lifting his arm like a wronged child. He rolled up his sleeve to reveal his wound. “Right here…”

Upon seeing the bloody bandage, Ida frowned. “Didn’t the doctor already treat the wound? Why is it bleeding again?”
