The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1638

Chapter 1638

Adrian looked puzzled as he tilted his little head in confusion. “Why not? Dad, don’t you want to see Tristan?”

Tristan was his own flesh and blood. How could he not want to see him?

However, the current situation was unpredictable. Especially with these two disruptive kids around.

Marcus said in a deep voice, “Didn’t I tell you not to let anyone find out you’re not Tristan? How come Lea figured it out so quickly?”

Adrian hurriedly waved his hands, trying to express his innocence. “No, no, I didn’t tell her anything. Aunt Lea figured it out by herself.”

In truth, he had let his secret slip a little, but he was afraid his father would be angry, so he didn’t dare admit it.

Lea didn’t want Adrian to be blamed, so she confessed. “Marcus, don’t blame him. He really didn’t tell me. I figured it out on my own.”

Marcus looked at Lea. “How did you figure it out?”

“Well… I guess I noticed it from his attitude towards Sophia. The real Tristan might not be fond of Sophia, but he wouldn’t be so disgusted with her to the point of hostility. And there’s also my sixth sense, which is usually spot on.”

Marcus squinted. “Who else knows about this?”

Lea shook her head. “No one. I promised him that I wouldn’t tell anyone. I always keep my word.”

Marcus frowned. “You promised him you wouldn’t tell anyone, but now you’re taking your parents and Sophia to meet his mother. What do you think they’ll think when they see another boy who looks just like him?”

Ah…

Lea was stumped.

“So, what if they see? Who cares?! Marcus, I guess you’ve probably figured out by now that Sophia tricked you into staying with her.

Why don’t we just clear the air today? Let Sophia’s true colors be revealed. You can use this opportunity to return to that good lady. She’s your real wife and your children’s birth mother!”

Marcus gave Lea a wry smile upon hearing this.

He wanted to do that, but was it as simple as she made it sound?

If Thaddeus and Sophia were the type of people who could be reasoned with, he wouldn’t have been deceived and imprisoned for so many years. They would never let him go peacefully after being exposed. They were not the type to reason or act logically.

His biggest worry was that they would do something irreversible when they saw the two children with Ellinor upstairs.

And he, in his current state, couldn’t do anything.

He couldn’t even stand!

What could he do? He needed to think of a plan quickly. As his mind raced, he pulled out his phone to send a message to Ellinor.

Just then, someone took the vacant seat across from him.

Marcus instantly became alert, thinking it was Sophia. He quickly put away his phone, which he hadn’t finished typing on, and looked up.

His pupils contracted in shock.

Her?!
