The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1521

Chapter 1521

She couldn’t understand. The bed was so big.

The child could sleep on either side or in the middle without them causing any disturbance to him.

But every time she tried to join him in bed with her pillows and blankets, he would turn away, stating he didn’t want her to see him in his current state of physical discomfort.

At first, Sophia thought it might be due to his male pride, but now she felt that he simply didn’t want to share the same bed with her.

For the past three years, she had showered him with care and affection, yet she couldn’t even earn a single smile from him.

Sigh…

“Alright, Marcus. You should go to sleep too.”

“Mmm.”

Sophia left the room dejectedly. Before closing the door, she gave a deadly glance at the child lying on the bed.

That child couldn’t possibly be Tristan.

How could she be so sure? Because this morning, when she was preparing breakfast, she deliberately added bell peppers, Tristan’s most despised food. But the child who was sleeping next to Marcus seemed to have no issue with the bell peppers. He even ate lots of them.

Tristan could never eat bell peppers. He was so picky that Marcus had to lecture him many times. But Tristan would rather starve than take a bite of bell pepper. Eventually, Marcus gave up on forcing him.

Today, that child not only ate the bell peppers but also seemed to enjoy them.

Could a person’s taste change so drastically in such a short period of time? She didn’t believe it.

Sophia couldn’t understand, but she was almost certain that the child wasn’t Tristan.

As for the reason, she had already sent her people to investigate.

Starting from the day they went kite flying, she remembered that Tristan began to change drastically after that day.

If it was confirmed that it wasn’t the same child, then….

It was the weekend.

Belinda was at the Blanchet Villa bright and early.

Ellinor was still in bed, having forgotten the previous agreement to meet her therapist friend.

Belinda rushed into her room to wake her up. “Wake up! Weren’t we supposed to meet my friend today? His schedule is free today, so we can have a nice long talk. It’s a rare opportunity, so hurry up. If someone else snatches up the slot, we’ll have to wait in line.”

Ellinor was still half-asleep, and, scratching her head, she asked, “What for? Which opportunity?”

She hadn’t had a good night’s sleep for days, especially after visiting that man.

“Remember? We agreed to meet my therapist friend. You said you were free this weekend. Have you forgotten?”

Ellinor had indeed forgotten. She was so tired that she wanted to continue sleeping

“We’ll do it another day. It’s not urgent. Tell your friend we’ll meet him some other time.”

Belinda frowned. “No way! My friend is usually very busy, so it’s hard to even get an appointment. Today is a rare opportunity; we can’t miss it!”
