anything.”
Theo turned his face away coldly, no longer looking at her, and remained silent.
Sophia let out a bitter laugh and then pleaded with him. “Theo, I’m a bit hungry. Before handling the procedures, can we go get breakfast?
Theo said coldly, “I don’t think that’s necessary. Calling off the engagement won’t take up too much of your time. After it’s done, you can go have breakfast by yourself.”
Sophia frowned. Her face clearly showed the pain she was feeling. “Theo… Are you really not willing to even have breakfast with me?”
There’s no need.”
Sophia’s emotions started getting worked up. “Theo, you said you love Ellinor, then you should understand how painful it is when one’s love is not reciprocated, right? You love Ellinor, and I love you just like how you love Ellinor. When our engagement is called off, I won’t come back to see you, and you probably won’t come to M State after you’re with Ellinor, right? We might never see each other again.
