The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1370

Chapter 1370

Belinda feigned sympathy. “Byran, if you’re really Ms. Gipson’s boyfriend, then it looks like you’ve got competition. You might’ve been played.”

Byran didn’t give a damn about being played. Right now, he was just burning with jealousy. He completely ignored Belinda and angrily got out of the car.

Seeing this, the driver asked loudly, “Sir, why did you get off? You still need to get to school!”

Byran couldn’t care less about school at this moment. All he wanted to do was find Ida, or else she might leave him.

He quickly walked up to Ida, pushed away the guy standing too close to her, and angrily asked, “Who is he? What were you guys doing?”

Ida was surprised at first by his sudden appearance and then looked a bit annoyed. “What are you doing here?”

Byran snapped, “If I didn’t show up, what were you planning to do with this guy?”

Ida adjusted her gold-rimmed glasses, looking a bit helpless and annoyed.

The man Byran had pushed away didn’t pick a fight with him. He looked at Ida with a puzzled yet elegant expression. “Ida, who is this young man?”

Ida apologized with a smile. “Sorry, he’s a friend’s younger brother and probably needs something from me. We might have to reschedule our meeting.”

The man smiled at Ida. “Alright, I’ll wait for your call then.”

Ida nodded and waved goodbye casually.

The man’s gaze was deep and full of emotions as he looked at Ida. He glanced at Byran before leaving, seeming to understand his feelings but not paying it much attention.

After watching the man leave, Byran spat out angrily, “You’re seeing him again? What are you planning to do with him?”

Ida glanced at him nonchalantly. “Meeting my friend for a meal; is there a problem?”

Byran was ready for a fight. “Friend? Do friends need to be that close?”

Ida looked at him dismissively. “Ever heard of social etiquette?”

Byran crossed his arms stubbornly. “I don’t care! I won’t allow you to see that guy again. He’s clearly into you!”

Ida was annoyed by Byran’s presumptuousness and thought he was childish and unreasonable.

“So what if he’s into me? If he’s good, I might even consider him as my boyfriend.”

Byran blew his top upon hearing this. “You’re actually considering a new boyfriend? Ida, you already have me. Why are you even considering other guys? Are you trying to kill me?”

Ida was getting impatient. She had a meeting inside the company soon and didn’t want to waste time arguing over such silly matters. She turned her gaze towards the car and said, “Where are the Howards? Are they not going to control Byran? Do I need to call Balfour?”

The driver felt incredibly awkward and immediately got out of the car. “Sir, let’s go! We’re running out of time. I need to take you to school, or you’ll be late again.”

Byran was still fuming and reluctant to move. In the end, he was practically dragged into the car by the driver.

Ida watched as the car drove off and rubbed her temples.

“Ms. Gipson, Byran seems to really like you.” Belinda walked up to Ida and sighed.

Ida snapped back to reality, glanced at Belinda without responding to her comment, and turned to walk into the company.

Belinda followed Ida into Crescent Society, and they got on the elevator together.
