Chapter 1363
Theo ended the call, cutting off Marissa’s nagging, and looked up at Collin.
“Swing by home later and bring over the soup Marissa made.”
Collin nodded. “Sure thing, Mr. Blanchet. Do I need to deliver it to Ellinor?”
“No need, I’ll have it myself, Theo replied.
Collin looked at him, puzzled. “But isn’t that soup Marissa made for Ellinor? You’re going to drink it?”
Theo rubbed his temples. “Marissa spoils her too much; she adds all kinds of supplements to the soup, so it might not be good for her health.”
Collin got it.
After giving instructions to Collin, Theo took out his phone to check his chat with Ellinor. His eyes couldn’t help but soften when he saw the goodnight message she sent before she fell asleep.
He sent her a text.
“You up yet?”
Not long after, a photo of her half-eaten breakfast was sent over.
His eyes slightly squinted as he texted her. “You went to bed late, so why are you up so early?”
Her reply was swift. “You think I shouldn’t be up this early, yet you’ve texted me this early. Are you trying to mess with my sleep?”
Theo frowned. “You have quite a sharp tongue. Can I see you?”
“How?” She asked.
Uncertain, Theo trod carefully with his next text. “Can I come to the Howard’s?”

Her reply was immediate. “No! We should minimize contact until that matter is settled.”
Theo sighed. He realized his mistake and didn’t pursue the subject.
Then she sent over a selfie. In the photo, she was staring intently at the camera.
“Just look at me like this.”
A small smile made its way to Theo’s face, and he chuckled. “Alright.”
Even though she looked a little fierce in the picture, he found her quite appealing.

At the Howard’s.
After sending Theo a picture, Ellinor was about to put down her phone and enjoy her breakfast..
But then an international call came in.
She saw the unfamiliar caller ID and didn’t want to answer, but it rang again after she declined.
Ellinor frowned and answered the call.
“Hello, who’s this?”
“It’s me, Sophia.”
Ellinor was surprised. “Ms. Sophia, what brings you to call me this early?”
Sophia didn’t offer her usual pleasantries. She scoffed, “I’m calling to inform you that I’m back in M State. I just got off the plane.”
Ellinor chuckled. “Really? You should have told me earlier. I could have seen you off at the airport.”
Sophia snickered. “Don’t celebrate too early, Ellinor. My return doesn’t mean I’m giving up on Theo. On the contrary, consider this my declaration of war. You better watch out; I won’t be going easy on you!”
