The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1362

Chapter 1362

Though Ellinor was a bit touched by Theo’s past, she wouldn’t let it cloud her judgement.

She paused for a second before saying, “That depends on whether Theo can sort out his personal issues. I won’t let anyone throw me off my game.”

At this, Belinda broke into a happy grin. “Ellinor, don’t stress; Theo can handle it. He’s head over heels for you. I’m chuffed he found you. With you in his life, he’s become more down-to-earth.”

Ellinor was feeling a bit knackered. She shuffled down to lie on the bed and placed her head on a pillow, listening to Belinda recount Theo’s past with a bitter taste in her mouth.

She grabbed her phone, opened up her chat with Theo, and sent him a message. “Goodnight.”

A few seconds later, she got his reply. “Goodnight.”

She put down the phone and slowly shut her eyes, drifting off to sleep.

Now that Ellinor was out cold, Belinda stopped talking and retired to a corner to scroll through her phone.

On the way to the Blanchet Corporation, Collin, sitting in the passenger seat, turned to respectfully report some news he’d just received. “Mr. Blanchet, Ms. Sophia has flown back to M State this morning.”

Theo squinted his eyes slightly. “Didn’t she lose all her identification?”

Collin voiced his speculation. “Maybe she didn’t want to end her marriage with you, so she faked losing her identification?”

Theo stayed quiet, apparently deep in thought.

Collin frowned, voicing his worries, “Mr. Blanchet, Ms. Sophia didn’t seem too happy when she left. She seemed a bit miffed at you.

Once she gets back to M State, she might go cry on her father, Thaddeus’ shoulder. Thaddeus dotes on Ms. Sophia. We might have pissed off Thaddeus International Corporation. There could be trouble brewing ahead.”.

Theo’s brow furrowed slightly as he replied indifferently, “She signed the contract. Our marriage certificate means nothing to me, and she knew it.”

“But Ms. Sophia has always had a thing for you…”

Theo rubbed his temples as he thought about this. He hadn’t noticed Sophia’s feelings for him because he never saw her as a woman.

If he knew about her feelings, he wouldn’t have taken her help in the first place.

Now, ending the marriage might not be that easy.

Just then, Theo’s phone rang, interrupting his train of thought.

It was Marissa calling.

Theo had barely left the house when Marissa called. Did something urgent happen?

He answered the call and heard Marissa’s nagging voice.

“Theo, why did you leave so early? Didn’t I tell you to wait a bit? I made soup for Ellinor this morning for you to bring to her. Why couldn’t you wait?”

Theo rubbed his temples tiredly. “I have to deal with company matters. I don’t have time to wait.”

Marissa protested. “No matter how urgent your company issues are, can they be more important than your wife’s health? I spent hours making this nourishing soup! You should go back and get it for Ellinor! Now!”

Theo seemed a bit helpless. “Grandma, you need to rest more; you don’t need to do these things yourself. I’ll have a nutritionist make soup for her when she wants

it.”

Marissa rebutted. “Can anything they make compare to my soup? Get back here and pick it up! Don’t keep me on edge!”

Theo replied, “Alright, I’ll have Collin pick it up later”

Marissa clearly wasn’t satisfied. “You should personally deliver it to Ellinor! We’ve been keeping your previous marriage a secret from Ellinor. I feel guilty just thinking about it. If you don’t step up your game, how are you going to bring Ellinor home soon?”

Theo sighed and said, “Grandma, I get it. Don’t worry anymore.”
