The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1333

Chapter 1333

Ida had a sudden realization and turned to Chase. “Are you saying she might have gone to the explosion site looking for Theo?”

Chase wasn’t sure. “It’s just a guess. We’ve looked everywhere we could think of. The only place we haven’t checked is the crime scene.” Though they didn’t continue their conversation, they seemed to come to some mutual understanding and quickly ran to their respective cars. Alterwards, Chase’s car and the Howard family’s car both headed towards the factory in the suburbs that had exploded.

At the same time.

In a small town not far from the Greenhaven suburbs, in a certain bungalow courtyard, Ellinor was tied up and confined in a dirty, small room. The air was filled with the scent of barbecue and cheap beer.

Every now and then, she could hear people outside swearing and telling crude jokes.

Since she was pregnant, the unpleasant smells made Ellinor feel nauseous.

The two men who had brought her here were outside drinking and eating late-night snacks with their comrades, not paying her any mind.

After bringing her here, they locked her in the room and left her alone.

Ellinor’s mouth was taped shut, so she couldn’t call for help.

She didn’t plan on calling for help anyway. In her current situation, making a fuss would only make things worse.

She observed her surroundings while moving her body, trying to use the sharp corner of some debris to cut the rope tied around her ankles.

Suddenly, the door to the hut was kicked open.

“Boss, what’s the point of bringing this chick here? She’s pregnant, so she can’t party with us.”

“All you think about is women!” The silver-haired man disgustedly lifted his chin. “Get lost! I need to chat with her.”

The fat man scratched his head in annoyance and left, closing the door for their boss.

The silver-haired man walked over to Ellinor, who was still tied to the ground. He looked down at her like she was an insect and asked scornfully. “Remember me?”

Ellinor lifted her head to look at the man, but with her mouth taped shut, she couldn’t answer his question.

The silver-haired man didn’t seem to expect an answer, and he lightly kicked her. “Alter you ran away that time. Theo had people chasing me for over a year. I almost died a few times. He really cares about you.”

Ellinor’s eyes faltered. She hadn’t known that Theo had sent people after this kidnapper.

The silver-haired man squatted down slowly; his evil eyes, filled with mockery and cruelly, were locked onto her. “I love destroying everything that bastard cares about bit by bit. I want him to suffer.”

Ellinor glared at the silver-haired man, trying to make a sound. She had something to say, but with her mouth taped shut, she couldn’t speak clearly.

The silver-haired man understood her intention. He reached out and mercilessly ripped the tape from her mouth.

Suddenly, Ellinor’s cheek felt a sharp pain. The adhesive material being ripped off her face pulled out her fine facial hair.

He said coldly, “What did you want to say? Say it now.”

Ellinor’s eyes were full of urgency. She looked at him expectantly. “Didn’t Theo die in the explosion? Why do you want him to suffer? What’s the point?” Her urgency was the hope of hearing from this kidnapper that Theo was still alive.
