The Kiss That Sparked it All Chapter 1224

Chapter 1224

Marissa smiled and nodded. “That’s sweet of you. Just put the snacks down; I’ll taste them when I get back. Sophia, we’ve got some stuff going down at our place today, so we can’t keep you around. You can come over some other time, and I’ll whip up something nice for you.”

Sophia grinned knowingly. “Granny, no worries, you don’t have to be so formal! By the way, are you guys heading out? I drove here, so how about I give you a ride?”

Marissa gently declined. “No need; we’ve got a driver who can take me, so you don’t have to bother.”

Sophia was still eager. “It’s no bother; I’ve got nothing else going on anyway.”

Veronica had a beef with Sophia because she always tried to cozy up to her grandparents whenever she came over.

As a woman, Granny could understand where Sophia was coming from.

But Grandpa was another story; he was totally charmed by Sophia’s brown-nosing. He loved how outgoing and generous Sophia was, always singing her praises.

Just thinking about it made Veronica’s blood boil.

Veronica said sourly. “Sophia, I know the hots you got for my brother, but don’t bother; he’s not into you!”

Sophia shrugged helplessly, playing innocent. “Veronica, I’m just offering to give you and Granny a lift. Don’t read too much into it; I don’t have any ulterior motives.”

Veronica rolled her eyes contemptuously. “You know damn well that you’ve got other intentions! Let me tell you, Ellinor’s already back; no matter how much you try to suck up to my brother and grandparents, it won’t do you any good.”

After hearing this, Sophia was first stunned, then her face lit up with joy. “Really? Ellinor’s back? Where is she? Granny, are you going to see Ellinor now? Can I come with you? I’ve always wanted to meet her.”

Marissa frowned slightly, helpless against Veronica’s big mouth. “Sophia, I know you mean well, but let’s do it another day. Ellinor just got back, so she must be tired and not ready to meet new people. I’ll introduce you guys some other time.”

Sophia insisted warmly. “Granny, don’t worry; I won’t be a bother to Ellinor. I think Ellinor left before because she misunderstood my relationship with Theo; it might be better if I explain it to her myself.”

Marissa found this reasonable, and she started to waver.

Ellinor’s departure might indeed have something to do with Sophia.

Now that Theo and Ellinor were having a chat, if Sophia went and cleared things up, they might patch things up.

Veronica sneered. “Granny, let her go if she wants to! I think she should explain things to Ellinor in person. Plus, when she sees Ellinor, she’ll get the hint about my brother.”

After some consideration, Mrs. Blanchet nodded. “Alright! Sophia, you can come with us.”

Sophia chuckled happily. “Thanks, Granny!”

After handing the snacks to the Blanchet family’s servant, Sophia picked up her car keys and headed out, helping Mrs. Blanchet along the way.

Ellinor’s back!

She could finally see what kind of person this Ellinor really was.

Over at the dining area, all the dishes were served.

The waiter couldn’t remember who ordered what and just placed them on the table according to the serving order.

I will Recommend Read this novel.. very interesting..
