Chapter 977
Bang!
Frank kicked open the door to the operating room, and the doctors all jumped and turned toward him in shock.
“Hey! Who are you?! What are you doing here?!”
“How confident are you about saving the patient, doctor?” Frank asked bluntly as he strode inside, staring icily at Dr. Brent as he stood near the operating table.
“Well…” Dr. Brent was hesitant.
The patient was maimed, but not lethally, since the torturer had been… methodical. They knew how to maximize pain but keep the victim alive.
But even if there was no chance of the victim dying, a full recovery was a pipe dream too. The torturer made sure that their work was permanent, shattering the victim’s thigh bones and leaving him wheelchair bound.
As the doctor in charge, even he would not be able to do much with the full extent of his abilities.
Moreover, he had express orders to keep the man alive and in pain-they were not supposed to help him at all, only prolong his pain. “Is that so? I understand.”
Frank could read Dr. Brent’s mind just from the troubled look in his eyes-Nash was brought here to a hospital, but not for treatment.
Striding up at the operating table, he snapped coldly, “All of you, out!”
“Who do you think you are, ordering me around?!” The anesthetist who was seated earlier stood up, glaring at Frank in contempt. “The Sorano family owns this hospital. You don’t get to strut here!”
“Fuck off!” Frank sent him flying to a wall with a kick, knocking him out.
Right now, all he wanted to do was to save Nash. He did not have the time to waste his breath with these people!
“W-What…?”
Dr. Brent was left stammering by Frank’s direct violence and pointed at the anesthetist. “S-Sir? That’s Horus Sorano, from one of the branch families. You just kicked him-”
Frank could not care less and stood his ground as he bellowed, “Didn’t you hear? I told you to leave!”
The doctors all traded looks, feeling the chill running up their spines.
They were not a part of the Sorano family, just hired personnel, so this was quite the scary scene for them…
“Oh, I’m not catching this heat. I’m out.”
As the first doctor fled, the others followed suit, and soon Frank was left standing alone in the spacious operating room.
“He’s in there!”
“Go!”
The hospital security guards charged into the operating room as well.
Frank looked up, even sneering at them as they came in.
Their leader raised a black stun baton, pressing the trigger to send sparks popping audibly at the tip.
“Kiddo, you messed with the wrong hospital. The Soranos own this place! Get down and apologize, and we might let you go!”
It was clear that those security guards were not professional.
