“News? Did you present her with such news?” Rosalie inquired with her arched eyebrows.
“How could I have shown her such news? Perhaps she stumbled upon it accidentally while playing with my phone,” Agyness replied, showing a wry smile.
“If that’s the case, it implies that Wrenna possesses a considerable vocabulary, given her comprehension of the news. Perhaps I should find an article and let her read it to test her understanding of its content,” Rosalie mused.
“Well… there’s also a video accompanying the news!” Agyness added hastily.
“A video?” Rosalie replied icily. “Why don’t you search the internet for me for a video that includes the term ‘mistress”?” At this juncture, mentioning terms like “mistress” was confined solely to the comment section. In the videos, people dared not utter such words. Even if they did, they were -promptly muted.
Rosalie was well aware of this, having instructed Jonathan to implement measures preventing any disparaging content about Lillian.
Alongside her, Callum, too, sought ways to block these videos so they remained entirely inaccessible online.
Regarding the incident involving Rosalie that occurred on the street earlier, there was scant information available online as to what little existed had been swiftly removed.
Therefore, Rosalie found it hard to believe that Wrenna could have stumbled upon those videos.
Agyness appeared increasingly embarrassed and swiftly shifted the topic. “However, regardless of what occurred, Jen shouldn’t have forcibly torn out Wrenna’s hair. I’m unsure if the damaged part will ever grow back. If it doesn’t…”
“If so, arrange for a doctor to assess the damage and determine the appropriate treatment.” Rosalie added, “I will cover all the expenses.”
“That’s all?” Agyness pondered. She was reluctant to resolve the matter so swiftly, especially since they were in the teachers’ office where several teachers were present. Displaying any vulnerability toward Rosalie now

Hence, Agyness asserted, “Regardless, Jen should apologize to Wrenna.” “Then let the two children apologize to each other,” Rosalie suggested. “Apologize to each other?” Agyness hesitated, considering that her daughter had endured a more severe injury than Jennifer.
“It was inappropriate for both the children to engage in such a conflict. Jen’s tearing off Wrenna’s hair was unquestionably wrong, but it stemmed from her desire to defend me and Lillian. On the other hand, Wrenna shouldn’t have uttered those words, considering she is now part of the Youngblood family. Understandably, she might not have fully grasped the concept that family rises and falls together, but you do. As a parent, it’s your responsibility to impart this lesson to your child!”
Rosalie’s comment left Agyness nearly speechless. By invoking the Youngblood family as a rationale for her stance, any insistence from Agyness on seeking an apology for Wrenna would appear unjustified and unreasonable.
Therefore, Agyness had no option but to grit her teeth and acquiesce. In the end, the two girls reluctantly apologized to each other. Only after this did Rosalie turn around, exchange pleasantries with the headteacher, and depart with the two children.
Upon settling into the car, Guillermo spoke up. “Mommy, I’m truly sorry. I failed to protect my sister.”
“That’s not true. I’m okay. You did a great job looking out for me, Guille!” Jennifer insisted, despite her braids, once meticulously arranged in the morning, now resembling tangled bird’s nests. Her face displayed two bruises, her clothes were in disarray, and a button was conspicuously absent.
Rosalie couldn’t help but find Jennifer’s appearance amusing.
“That’s enough. It’s wonderful that you share a strong bond with your siblings,” Rosalie said as her hand straightened her daughter’s messy clothes. She then continued, “Even though fighting isn’t the right approach, Jen, I understand you did so today because of me and Lillian. However, both of you must understand that fighting doesn’t resolve issues. It often exacerbates problems, turning minor issues into major ones.”

flickered in his eyes. Clearly, he comprehended that fighting was not a suitable way to resolve conflicts. After all, the Youngblood family’s method of nurturing their heirs was unlikely to foster recklessness. Besides, the young lad was remarkably precocious and more intelligent than most children his age.
Meanwhile, Jennifer did not fully grasp her mother’s words, and the disagreement was evident on her young face. Clearly, she still found it more convenient to resort to fighting.
Observing her children’s disparate responses, Rosalie couldn’t help but sigh inwardly. While her daughter was undoubtedly intelligent, her intelligence seemed channeled into different areas.
“Never mind. You’ll grasp this in the future,” Rosalie said while patting her daughter’s head.
Rosalie felt that certain things had to be experienced firsthand before true understanding could dawn on Jennifer.
However, Rosalie did not anticipate that Agyness would arrive directly at the Youngblood residence with Wrenna that same night.
Wrenna had arrived wearing a small hat on her head, but as she stepped into the living room of the Youngblood residence, Agyness removed her hat. Instantly, the bald patch on Wrenna’s hair became especially noticeable.
“Mr. Youngblood, I’ve brought Wrenna here to apologize to Jen,” Agyness said, her tone apologetic.
“Apologize?” Jonathan furrowed his brows slightly.
“What’s wrong? Hasn’t Mrs. Youngblood informed you about what happened?” Agyness explained hesitantly, “Today, at the kindergarten, Wrenna inadvertently said something inappropriate. Consequently, she was attacked by Jen, and her hair was torn off. While it was improper for Jen to resort to violence, I can’t deny that it all stemmed from what Wrenna said.”
After her explanation, Agyness turned to her daughter and instructed firmly, “Wrenna, apologize to Jen now!”
“Okay,” Wrenna replied. Her eyes reddened as she approached Jennifer. “Jen, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that Lillian is a mistress and your mother is a mistress. I-I secretly played with Mommy’s phone a few days ago, and then I saw a video mentioning that your mother had an inappropriate relationship with Mr. Smuckler. What does ‘improper
relationship’ mean? Do you know?”
The child’s voice resonated through the living room. Rosalie’s heart sank upon hearing Wrenna’s words, and she immediately grasped Agyness’ strategy.
Rosalie couldn’t help but think, “While it appears to be an apology, she’s actually using her daughter to fuel Jon’s suspicions. Is she trying to exacerbate the conflict between Jon and me?”
Jennifer was just a child. Therefore, she couldn’t grasp the true
implications of those words. She simply believed Wrenna had genuinely come to apologize. “I don’t know either. But regardless, you can’t speak ill of my mother and Lillian anymore.”
“I-I promise. I won’t say anything inappropriate in the future. Who is your mother’s mentor? Is he close to your mother?” Wrenna continued, following her mother’s instructions.
Even though she had no desire to apologize to Jennifer, her mother insisted that if she complied with the instructions, she would be recognized as Jonathan’s true daughter in the future.
Simultaneously, Jennifer and her mother would be expelled from the Youngblood family!
Despite her reluctance, she obediently recited the words her mother instructed her to, uttering them word by word.
