Hearing that, Sarah choked before saying, “But we are relatives! Are you not afraid of being gossiped for refusing to help us?”
“The one who hurt others isn’t afraid of being gossiped about. I’m a victim. Why should I be afraid of that?” Rosalie laughed before adding, “Besides, Fiona never treated me as a relative when she was trying to hurt me.”
Sarah’s expression immediately turned gloomy. She wanted to teach Rosalie a lesson as an elder and reached out to poke Rosalie. However, Renee grabbed her finger before she could do that.
Sarah immediately felt her finger was about to break and screamed in pain.
“Aunt Sarah, it would be better for you not to touch me. My bodyguard is not someone to be trifled with. The person who gets hurt in the end will only be you,” Rosalie said coldly.
Sarah was furious. However, her finger hurt so much that she had to withdraw her hand. She stared at Rosalie fiercely instead. “So, you’re rebellious now, huh? Let’s wait and see how long you can be arrogant then!”
“If you dare to lay a hand on her, I can tell you that Fiona and your whole family will be imprisoned!” Calvin warned coldly.
Sarah was startled, and her expression changed. She left dejectedly after
that.
Calvin looked at Rosalie for a while before he asked with difficulty, “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.” Rosalie flashed him a smile.
From her rosy cheeks and the happiness on her face, Calvin could tell she was indeed different from before. As she said, she was fine now.
However, he felt bitterness in his heart.
“She said she’s fine. That means choosing Jonathan was the right choice for her. As for me… The chance of being with her seems to be getting slimmer now. Or should I say, I had no more chances from the moment she decided to marry Jonathan!” he thought.

But why do I have a heavy feeling in my chest after hearing that?” Rosalie then told Renee, the bodyguard beside her, “Let’s go.” After saying that, she walked toward the other side. On the other hand, Calvin stood rooted to his spot in a daze while fixing his eyes on her back.

Alan heaved a sigh on the side. No one could imagine that Calvin, who had changed his girlfriends quickly, would be in such a state when he became obsessed with someone.
Things might be easy to settle if it were another woman. However, that woman was the one Jonathan had taken an interest in and was now married to him. Therefore, Calvin’s relationship with her was destined to be fruitless.
Alan gently patted his friend on the shoulder and comforted him, “There are plenty of women out there. Maybe after you forget about Rosalie, you will find that-”
“Alan, have you ever really loved someone?” Calvin suddenly asked.

“I came back early because I’ve finished my work in the office,” he said while pulling her over to sit on the couch, lifting her feet, and massaging them gently.
Rosalie enjoyed her husband’s massage.

“Yeah. The doctor said Lillian will regain her consciousness soon. I wonder if she can see Callum when she wakes up. By the way, hasn’t your man contacted Callum yet?” Rosalie asked.
Jonathan hesitated for a moment. “What if Callum already changed? Do you still want Lillian to see him when she wakes up?”

“The Tall family and Callum should be making a move against the first branch of the White family in the next few days. It’s probably time for them to reel in the net.
