She looked at the person in front of her in surprise and wondered, “What does he mean?”
“If you won’t love me and want to forget me because we broke up, then… let’s get back together like before,” he said.
Jonathan never changed his decision. However, this time, he took back his words and slapped himself in the face just because that person was Rosalie. He could not take it if she did not love him and would forget him.

“If I love you, will you love me again?” Jonathan asked hoarsely. He would love Rosalie and put his life and emotions in her
hands.

However, in his ears, Jonathan only heard Rosalie’s voice saying, “Jonathan, I won’t fall in love with you again.”

Calvin had always watched people and things with cold eyes, but he could not do that when it came to Rosalie.
“Yvette… Zachary…” Calvin murmured those two names. He would find a way
to avenge Rosalie.
“Mr. Gunner, Ms. Haberly is here. She said she has something important to tell you,” the butler reported after he walked into the study.
Calvin put away his phone and ordered calmly, “Ask her to wait for me in the living room. I’ll come over soon.”
“Yes,” the butler answered and left the study.
Calvin raised his hand and touched his heart, which hurt for the woman who had suffered so much in prison.
If it were anyone else who had suffered injustice and torture in prison like her, their spirit and will would have been destroyed long ago.
However, she persisted in striving for her survival and future. Even if her life had long gone off track because of that injustice, she started all over again.
That woman might seem weak, but she was far more tenacious than ordinary people.
That image of Rosalie reminded Calvin of the little girl from his childhood again. He could not help but think it would be great if only that little girl were Rosalie and not Fiona.
The reunion with Fiona only made him understand that imagination and reality were different and that people would also change.
That little girl used to be full of a sense of justice and hoped to do justice for others. Fiona, however, just wanted to live a lavish life.

Calvin got up and left the study for the living room.

Usually, he would not mind women playing tricks in front of him and would only treat it as a joke, but he still felt disappointed when Fiona did that.
“Since you’re here, just say it,” Calvin said.

Then, she took a recording pen out and said, “This is a conversation between Rosalie and me a few days ago. I accidentally pressed the record button at that time and happened to record parts of the conversation. At first, I didn’t want to say it, but I was afraid that you would be hurt, so I came here anyway.”
“Yeah?” Calvin did not take the recording pen but looked straight at Fiona.
Fiona felt a little guilty, so she asked hesitantly, “How about… I play it for you?”
After saying that, she hurriedly pressed the play button without waiting for Calvin to respond, and the original conversation between Rosalie and her was played. However, she had processed all the dialogue and deleted the parts that were unfavorable to her.
“I don’t love Calvin and have no feelings for him.” When those words of Rosalie’s came out from the recording pen, Fiona tried to observe Calvin’s expression and hoped to see him get angry or turn from love to hate.
However, in the end, she was disappointed. Calvin’s expression remained the same from beginning to end without any changes. After the recording finished playing, he still looked calm.
Fiona even wanted to replay the recording for him.
“I just recorded it by accident. Calvin, you heard that Rosalie doesn’t love you. I’m really worried that you will be hurt, especially now that Rosalie’s life is not very satisfactory.
