“I don’t care about the time if I want to see you,” Lillian said in a sweet voice. “Callum, I really think I’m lucky. You like me, and I like you too.”
She was much luckier than Rosalie, which was also the reason that made her feel more distressed for her friend.
“Why are you suddenly saying these?” Callum looked at Lillian. Although he did not understand why she suddenly said these seemingly heartfelt words, he was happy to hear them.
“I went to see Rosalie today,” Lillian said. “She said that she and Jonathan became ‘siblings’ as before due to some circumstances. I know Rosalie really wants to forget Jonathan, but with things happening like this now, the situation will only become messier.

“Jonathan still loves Rosalie,” Callum suddenly said.

“Yes.” After watching Jonathan’s gaze several times after Jonathan broke up with Rosalie, Callum, as a man, could naturally feel that Jonathan’s love for Rosalie did not end at all. Instead, it was a feeling that was close to craziness.
“Then, why did he want to break up? Didn’t he say he was tired and didn’t want to love her anymore?” Lillian said confusedly.
“Well, you have to ask him yourself.” Callum caressed Lillian’s forehead. “All right. Don’t get involved in other people’s affairs.”
“What other people? That’s Rosalie we’re talking about!” Lillian frowned unhappily. Rosalie was different from others, as they were best friends.
“Okay, okay!” Callum answered, knowing how important Rosalie was in Lillian’s heart. Even that importance often made Callum utterly jealous.
He suspected that if he and Rosalie fell into the water at the same time one day, Lillian would choose to save Rosalie without hesitation.
“Callum, let’s not break up for no reason in the future, okay?” said Lillian.
Callum only felt that Lillian’s words sounded very awkward. He thought, “What did she mean by breaking up for no reason? I won’t even allow her to break up with me!”
“You forget what I told you back then. If we were really in a relationship, there wouldn’t be any breakup happening in the future! Lillian, if you dare to break up with me, you’ll be dead!” Callum responded.
“That’s right. We promised not to break up at the beginning of our relationship!” recalled Lillian.
“Haha!” Lillian thought with a smile and then moved her hands from Callum’s waist to his neck again, wrapping her arms around the area. She pulled him down a little and stood on tiptoe to kiss him initiatively.
When the kiss was over, Lillian still did not get enough of it. She stared at Callum with her cat-like round eyes and licked her lips, saying, “I think we can kiss longer.”
Callum raised his eyebrows and looked at her. “Do you know the consequences of kissing a man like this at midnight?” He did not have the sensibility of maintaining his self-control in long kisses.
Lillian blinked and then blushed, seemingly understanding the hidden meaning in Callum’s words. However, after a moment of hesitation, she stood on tiptoe again, planning to kiss Callum again.

On the contrary, she asked strangely, “Why would I be afraid? I like you, and you also like me, so it’s a normal thing to do!” Of course, she could not let her conservative parents know about their current interaction.

Callum suddenly laughed in a low voice.
