Rosalie hadn’t seen Lucas for a few days. She thought he had figured it out, but at that moment, she could sense from the way he looked at her as if he hadn’t given her up.

Rosalie pondered for a while and decided to get into Lucas’ car since she thought it would not clash with her upcoming date.

At that time, his car was behind Larry’s vehicle, so he was the first to witness the collision and the two people who got out of the car. However, the detail was that the two were getting out of it from the doors on the side of the driver’s seat.

When she read through the investigation report from the police, it clearly stated that there were two people, one sitting in the driver’s seat and one in the passenger seat.
She analyzed inwardly, “If they came out from one direction at the same time, one should be from a driver’s seat and another from a back seat. Of course, there’s another possibility. That’s… It was possible that the driver and passenger deliberately switched their identities.”
“Are you sure?” Rosalie asked.

At that moment, they had arrived at Aiden’s side. The little boy and Matilda were already standing by the intersection, waiting for them.
As soon as Aiden saw Rosalie, he smiled happily. But then he turned to look at Lucas, who stood beside Rosalie, curiously and asked in a childlike voice, “Does he go to the amusement park with us?”
Before Rosalie could answer, Lucas leaned down and asked Aiden, “So, can I go to the amusement park with you?”

Looking at Lucas and the excited Aiden at the side, Rosalie felt bad for rejecting him in front of the child, so she nodded, agreeing.

Aiden looked at a little girl sitting on her father’s shoulder in the queue at the counter next to them, looking around adorably.
Rosalie noticed that Aiden had been looking at the little girl and her father.
She knew that Aiden had grown up with Amelia and Matilda since birth and only met his biological father, Warren, once. In his view, he did not have a father.
He had never experienced such a father’s act of lifting his child high and riding on the shoulder.

She suddenly thought, “It seems to be a good choice to come to the amusement park with Lucas and Aiden today.”
The day at the amusement park, Aiden had a good time. After sunset, Lucas drove while Aiden fell asleep in Rosalie’s arms.
“Thank you for today,” Rosalie said. That day, Lucas was like a temporary replacement for the role of father. Some games that a child should be played with a father, and he would play with Aiden.

“How do you know we’ll have no future if you haven’t tried?” Lucas smiled shyly, but there was a rare persistence in his smile. “You don’t have to give me any response. If you meet someone you like one day, I’ll also send you my blessing.”
