The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 386

Chapter 386

Rosalie suddenly chuckled and asked, “Fiona, did you save Calvin in childhood?”

Fiona glared at Rosalie and replied, “If I hadn’t saved Calvin at that time, then why would he be so kind to me?”

“But I remember you didn’t like to play on that mountain, did you? On the contrary, I often went there to play,” Rosalie said.

Fiona’s face turned pale and said, “What… What do you mean? I did save Calvin, and it has nothing to do with whether I love going there or not. In short, I went there occasionally and happened to save Calvin.”

“Oh?” Rosalie looked at Fiona’s dodging eyes. She already knew that Fiona wouldn’t dare to look at her because of her guilty conscience.

From Fiona’s reaction, the person who saved Calvin couldn’t be Fiona.

“Rosalie, are you done?” Fiona had to use her anger to cover up her guilty feelings at this moment. “You have no right to interfere with what had happened between Calvin and me. Just mind your own business!”

After saying that, Fiona left angrily.

Rosalie gently lowered her eyes and looked at her hands. If what happened in her dreams was all about how she saved Calvin when they were children, Rosalie would be the one who saved Calvin.

Her hands had grabbed Calvin’s hand tightly on the cliff and took him back to a safe place.

It was also these hands that carried Calvin on her back and took him down the mountain.

The silver bracelet that Calvin had been holding should be the one she had worn when she was a child.

Rosalie remembered that she had a pair of such silver bracelets when she was a child, but later she lost one of them. When she got older and couldn’t wear the little bracelet, her grandmother helped her put it away.

However, Rosalie didn’t see a similar bracelet in the items left by her grandmother.

She thought, “Maybe my grandmother lost it. After all, it’s been so many years ago, and such a small silver bracelet is not worth much.”

Rosalie walked to the door of the Lopez residence and looked at the place where she once lived when she was a child. She thought that she would not set foot here again in the future.

Even Rosalie had to worship her grandmother every year, she would only go to her grandmother’s grave directly.

The driver who drove Rosalie here was still waiting outside the door. Seeing Rosalie coming out, he asked where she was going.

“Drive me to Grandma’s grave later,” Rosalie said.

The driver nodded. Just then, Rosalie saw Fiona holding Calvin’s arm and coming out of the house.

When Fiona saw Rosalie, a trace of worry flashed across her face. She seemed to be afraid that Rosalie would say something to Calvin.

“Calvin, let’s go. I will take you to eat the doughnut in the dessert shop there. I promised you that when we were kids.” Fiona deliberately raised her volume, obviously trying to make Rosalie hear it.

“Okay.” Calvin nodded and walked directly past Rosalie. He didn’t even look at Rosalie.

Rosalie raised her eyes and watched them get in the car which slowly drove away from the door of the Lopez residence.

“Fiona said that?” Rosalie thought and narrowed her eyes, “But back then, I was the one who promised Calvin to have doughnuts when we grew up.”

Speaking of which, the doughnut was one of Rosalie’s favorite snacks, and that dessert shop was still open.

Rosalie didn’t know if Fiona would take Calvin to that shop.

Rosalie opened the door, got in the car, and told the driver the address of her grandmother’s grave. The driver then drove to the destination.

Rosalie had already bought the flower, She didn’t want to go with the Lopez family, and she just wanted to accompany her grandmother quietly for a while.

The car arrived at the foot of the mountain. Rosalie didn’t ask the driver to accompany her up the mountain but said, “I can go up by myself. I want to accompany Grandma alone. Wait for me here.”

The driver looked embarrassed and said, “But Mr. Youngblood said…”

“I’ll tell Jon myself later. He won’t blame you,” Rosalie said. “Besides, this is a cemetery in the village. Now it’s daytime and there will be no danger.”

As Rosalie said that, she walked up the mountain step by step with the flowers.

Seeing this, the driver couldn’t say anything more to stop her. He had to wait quietly there.

When Rosalie approached her grandmother’s grave, her phone suddenly rang. It was Jonathan’s call.

“My meeting this morning has been over. I’ll come to you now,” Jonathan said.

“Don’t worry. I haven’t finished yet,” Rosalie said.

“What are you doing now?” he asked.

“I’m going to Grandma’s grave to see her. There were many people in the Lopez residence. It is quiet here. I can stay with Grandma alone for a while,” Rosalie said. “If you arrive at the Lopez residence and I haven’t come back yet, just wait for me.”

“Okay,” Jonathan replied. “If anything happens, let Troye help you.”

“I see,” Rosalie said.

Rosalie was a few months older than Jonathan. At first, it was Rosalie who took more care of Jonathan, but now it seemed that he treated her as a child instead.

After finishing the call, Rosalie walked to her grandmother’s grave and looked at her grandmother’s photo on the marble

tombstone.

In the black and white photo, Rosalie’s grandma smiled kindly as if she was looking at Rosalie.

Rosalie put down a bunch of flowers to worship her grandmother and put it in front of the tombstone.

Her mother and brother had died, and now her grandmother also left her.

The family who loved Rosalie left the world one by one.

But fortunately, Jonathan was still with her, and he would be her family.

She believed that she would be with Jonathan forever and they would have children in the future.

Rosalie lowered her head and looked at her flat abdomen. During this period, she had been taking care of her womb and uterus in addition to the joint pain.

The doctor said that Rosalie was in good condition and her operation had a high chance of success. After the operation, she could get pregnant smoothly.

In the past, Rosalie had thought that she would never have a chance to be a mother in her life. But now God gave her another chance.

If possible, she hoped that in the future, she could give birth to several children for Jonathan and make them have more family members. In that case, Rosalie must be very happy.

“Grandma, I will be happy,” Rosalie was facing the tombstone and said to the picture of her grandmother.

At the same time, Jonathan was looking at the phone in his hand with a serious look. Carlos next to him reported, “Mr. Gunner and Ms. Leighton’s cousin Fiona also went back to the Lopez residence today. I guess they must have met each

other.”
