The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 372

Chapter 372

Rosalie hurriedly washed up and headed to the hospital.

She was unaware that someone had already informed Jonathan of her whereabouts when she left the Youngblood residence.

In the CEO’s Office, Carlos said, “Mr. Youngblood, Ms. Leighton has left the house.”

Jonathan’s long, black eyelashes fluttered as he slightly lowered his eyes. “Okay, I got it.”

Then there was silence.

However, Carlos’ body trembled as he felt terrified when Jonathan was so quiet.

Rosalie arrived at the hospital and met Robin Erickson, a female doctor in her 40s. Robin was a bit plump with smiling eyes, giving off an amiable aura that made it easy for others to let down their guard.

Maybe a shrink was a better fit for such an appearance.

Rosalie sat down and informed Robin of her symptoms as well as the recent increase in her dream frequency, especially after seeing Calvin at the exhibition.

“It’s probably amnesia. You dreamt about the same situation at night after someone told you something, placing yourself in the dream. This kind of dream shouldn’t persist. It only occurs sporadically,” Robin said.

“Amnesia?” Rosalie had surmised this possibility herself, but hearing it from licensed therapists still made her heart sink.

If the dream was indeed a memory, Calvin and her…

“Ms. Leighton!”

The voice of Robin suddenly interrupted Rosalie’s thinking.

“Sorry, I’m distracted.”

“Hypnosis is definitely a better option if you want to find out whether it is your memory. After all, you have experienced several continuous dreams, as you stated. These dreams might help me guide you in the right direction. If all goes well, you can restore your memories,” Robin added.

“Is it… that easy?” Rosalie was stunned.

Robin chuckled. “Your case is indeed simple because you have a series of dreams, so I just need to guide you a little bit. If amnesia is not the cause, I shall look for another one.”

After a pause, Robin added, “I can hypnotize you tomorrow if you need to quickly recover your memories, Ms. Leighton.”

Hearing Robin’s suggestion, Rosalie suddenly felt uneasy.

Rosalie was still stunned when she walked out of Robin’s office.

She had been confused for a long time. Could she get an answer tomorrow? It was too fast, which made her find it hard to believe.

Meanwhile, she also felt uneasy.

Her thoughts rushed back to the scenes where Jonathan stood in front of his father’s photo, feeling utterly alone, and Calvin clutched her hand tenaciously and asked who she was.

How could she face it if she was actually the young child who had earlier saved Calvin?

And would Calvin cause any more trouble?

And would Jonathan be upset? When she left this morning, she was contemplating ways to make him feel more secure.

What about Fiona?

Rosalie’s thoughts were a complete mess as she sat in a chair in the hospital hallway.

A dark automobile was parked near the hospital in the shadows. Jonathan sat in the backseat and fixed his eyes on the hospital’s entrance.

He thought, ‘My Rosie, when will you come out?

You promised that you would never betray me, but why did you visit a shrink?

Do you still want to restore the memories related to Calvin?”

Jonathan stared at the entrance quietly. Finally, he caught sight of a figure wearing a white dress.

It was Rosalie!

He could instantly identify her in the crowd.

He then saw her pull out her phone and seem to be making a call.

Moments later, his phone rang. He took out the phone and peered down at the screen, which displayed the caller’s name as

“Rosie.”

He liked to call her Rosie. That made him feel they were close to each other.

Perhaps it was a kind of attachment. This woman once said to him with a smile, “How about you call me Rosie?”

She then added, “We care about each other from now on.”

Rosie…

He had no idea back then that he would fall head over heels in love with this woman.

His phone kept ringing. Jonathan clicked on the “answer” button and then heard her clear voice say. “Jon, where are you now?”

As he took a distant look at the figure at the hospital’s entrance, he responded, “I’m in the office now.”

“I’ll come to you later. You should not have lunch yet. I will bring lunch for you. What do you want to eat?” she asked.

“All right. Whatever you bring will be fine with me.”

“Well then.”

Rosaline put away her phone and hailed a taxi.

Jonathan then said to the driver lightly, “Go back to the office.”

Rosalie brought two lunchboxes and two apples to the Youngblood Group.

Rosalie had sparked tense debate online for some time, but she was unlikely to be recognized because some news about her was swiftly removed shortly after being posted. Even in the Youngblood Group, not many people knew who she was, except for the security guards at the entrance of the building and the receptionists.

After all, Rosalie had previously brought meals to Jonathan while working as a rider for Amelia’s diner. The former was well-known to the receptionists and security guards.

As a result, when they spotted her, the security guards and receptionists greeted her more respectfully than before.

Rosalie was led to the elevator by a receptionist, who assisted her in pressing the floor’s number button.

After Rosalie entered the elevator and closed the door, the receptionist was relieved.

“Who was that woman? Why were you so respectful to her?” an employee passing by asked.

“Future spouse of the boss. Can you treat her with disrespect?” the receptionist replied.

Naturally, Rosalie in the elevator was unaware that others were talking about her. She exited the elevator as the door reopened and made her way to the CEO’s Office.

No one stopped her. After all, she was the person Jonathan loved, and everyone on this floor knew it. Who dared stop her?
