Just as Amelia was about to ask the man for his order, she saw the man’s step pausing beside Calvin.
Two strikingly handsome men exchanged glances. After a while, the man pulled out the chair and sat at the same table as Calvin.
Amelia was puzzled. Did they know each other?
On reflection, it wouldn’t be odd if they did, as both men seemed cut from the same cloth.
“I didn’t expect to meet you here,” Jonathan said with a half-smile, his dark eyes seemed to be scrutinizing Calvin.
“Likewise,” Calvin replied.
At this moment, Amelia stepped forward and asked, “Sir, what would you like to order?”
“Whatever he’s having,” Jonathan said.
Therefore, Amelia made another cup of coffee and served it to Jonathan.
“Do
you also like coffee?” Calvin raised his eyebrows slightly.
Jonathan took a sip and said lightly, “Coffee can be the same, but people can’t.”
Calvin’s expression changed slightly. “People are indeed different from coffee. Coffee is dead, but people are alive.”
