Then Hanna heard Calvin’s angry voice above her head. “What are you doing?”
Hanna was stunned. She turned around and saw Calvin’s pale face. “I… I just wanted to catch the fish.”
Calvin was stunned for a moment. “Fish?” He lowered his head and looked at the small fish swimming along the stream. He looked around and noticed that some other people were bending down and catching these small fish. Then he had a moment of enlightenment.
Calvin realized that Hanna was just catching the fish. He thought sh going to do that terrible thing at first.
Hanna said, “You thought I was going to kill myself, didn’t you? Don’t
worry.
I won’t. My parents sacrificed their lives for me. I have to stay happy to repay their love for me!”
Calvin fixed his eyes on Hanna. He listened to her quietly and found fragility in her eyes but she still looked very strong.
Calvin slowly helped her stand firmly. Suddenly, Hanna exclaimed, “Look at your pants and shoes!”
All of his shoes and part of his pants were soaked in the water.
Calvin said indifferently, “Nothing. They’re just wet.” When he saw that Hanna was about to fall into the water he ran over to her without hesitation.

Suddenly, several children ran toward them and bumped into Calvin. He tilted to the side slightly.
Hanna shouted, instinctively reaching out to grab Calvin’s arm, “Watch out!”

Hanna hurriedly shouted, “Calvin!” She got off him, flustered, and tried to pull him up, afraid that he would be suffocated in the water.
Calvin sat up quickly and his whole body and head were completely wet
now.
Hanna said Hanna anxiously, “How do you feel now? Are you okay?”
Calvin coughed slightly and combed his wet hair using his hand. He wiped off the water on his face. “I’m all right.”
The children who bumped into Calvin obviously realized that they in trouble. They all stood aside, shivering. Their parents came over quickly and apologized to Calvin.
One of them said, “Sorry, I’m so sorry!”
Calvin got up and said, “Never mind.” He turned around to Hanna. “Let’s get out of the water.”
Hanna replied, “Yes.” And then they got out of the water.
Calvin booked a suite at a hotel around the Great Valley because he and Hanna were all wet,
The suite Calvin booked was naturally the best and included several bedrooms and two bathrooms. There were all kinds of supplies in the room. The decoration was elegant and somewhat luxurious.
Calvin said, “There are bathrobes in the bathroom. Take off your clothes

and shoes and ask customer service to wash and dry them. We should be able to head back to the city at night.”
Hanna replied, “Okay. I’m sorry for this.”

Hanna walked into one of the bathrooms.
Calvin’s hair was still wet. And suddenly, a trace of doubt flashed in his

Calvin thought, ‘What was wrong with me? When I saw her falling into the stream, my mind went blank and I just walked directly into the water to save her.
I knew that stream was shallow. She wouldn’t be in great danger even if she fell down. Why did I instinctively rush to help her?

Maybe I was a bit attracted to her and now even care about her very much.

Calvin paused and looked at her in confusion.

Calvin glanced at the wound on his arm and said, “I was probably scratched by a stone in the water just now. It’s just a minor injury.”
