The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 1339

Chapter 1339

Hanna thought that she might not sleep well all night after the shocking incident in the restroom.

However, she didn’t wake up the next morning until she received a call from her assistant. Then she found that it was really late.

Her assistant kept waiting for her in the studio and thought something was wrong with her, but Hanna just overslept.

After finishing the call, Hanna hurriedly got up and washed up.

Hanna thought, “About last night, I only remember that I grabbed Calvin’s hand tightly and then entered the room. Then Calvin said that he would get me a glass of warm water. Later, I seemed to be sitting on the sofa and couldn’t help but take a nap… So I fell asleep later?! And then… Calvin carried me to the bed?”

Thinking of this, Hanna’s face suddenly turned red. She thought, “After I fell asleep yesterday, did I do anything strange or say something weird in my dream?!”

But Hanna vaguely remembered that there was a gentle voice in her dream saying something, and then she slept at ease…

Hanna raised her head and looked at herself in the mirror in front of the sink. Her cheeks were rosy and her eyes seemed to flash with affection…

“Hanna, is it difficult to pretend to fall in love with me?” Calvin’s voice seemed to sound in her ear again.

And Hanna’s heart seemed to beat faster.

Hanna suddenly shook her head and thought, “Damn it! Stop thinking about it! We’re just pretending to be dating, and that’s it.”

Calvin knew clearly that there was another person in Calvin’s heart.

So she knew better than anyone that she couldn’t fall in love with Calvin, because once she did that, it would be another disaster!

After arriving at the studio, Hanna and her two assistants started to sort out various materials related to Meeting You.

The director said yesterday that he hoped that both Hanna and the scriptwriter could come to the set at a fixed time every week after the drama began shooting. So if there was anything that they needed to discuss about the script, they could get it done as soon as possible.

Although the script had been finished long ago, it was possible to modify the script at any time during the shooting process. If Hanna, the original author, could participate in it together, the drama would be more similar to the original work.

Hanna had no objection to that. She also hoped the drama to be great. And during this period, she also happened to be free. Her next comic was still being prepared and hadn’t started serializing yet.

If the new comic started to serialize, Hanna would have less free time.

While Hanna was sorting out the materials, her phone suddenly rang. As soon as Hanna answered it, Shelly’s anxious voice sounded. “Hanna, where are you now?”

“I’m in the studio,” said Hanna.

“Okay, now find a hat and put it on. Try to leave the studio unobtrusively and ask your two assistants to go back first. In short, lock the studio and don’t leave anyone there,” said Shelly.

“What’s wrong? What happened?” Hanna asked.

“Alas, do as I say first. I’m driving over now and I’ll tell you about it later!” said Shelly.

Hearing this, Hanna hurriedly stopped working and asked her assis to go home first. She turned off the computer, locked the door of th studio, and left.

But when Hanna walked to the main entrance of the building, she saw group of people stopped by the security guards. Some were holding cameras, some carrying video cameras, and some holding microphones

In the noise, Hanna was a little stunned when she heard “Liana Studio” and her name.

She thought, “Are these people here for me?”

Hanna turned around and hurriedly got out of the building in the direction of the side door. But before she could walk far, she heard someone calling her name behind her Then she was surrounded by a group of people.

“You’re Ms. Liana Zimmerman, whose real name is Hanna Zimmerman, the author of Meeting You, right? I heard that you were bullied by others on campus. Is that true?” Someone’s question made Hanna stiff.

“I heard that it was because you pestered a boy at school and deliberately framed the girl who approached that boy. In other words, you were bullied but were also a bully, right?”

“Are you going to apologize to the person who was bullied by you?”

“Do you admit these things?”

The noisy voice and all kinds of questions kept exploding in Hanna’s ears. Hanna’s face turned pale, and her hands and feet began to stiffen as if she had returned to the scene where she was once surrounded and scolded by those people at school.

Those cameras were aimed at Hanna, and the flashlights were constantly flashing in front of her. She wanted to avoid these people but didn’t know how.

At this moment, Shelly suddenly rushed over and directly held Hanna’s shoulders to block those cameras. “Move away! Move away, please! We’ll explain it later. Move away…”

Shelly shouted while pulling Hanna to get out of the encirclement of reporters. At this moment, the security guards of the building also came and helped block the reporters.

Shelly took Hanna to the car parked outside and left quickly.

Hanna couldn’t come back to herself. She thought, “How could those reporters find out what happened so many years ago?”

“Those reporters just enjoy making chaos. Don’t go to the studio these days and live with me first. Let’s wait for a few days until it cools down,” Shelly said while driving.

“Why did those reporters suddenly mention what happened back then?” Hanna was confused. She thought, “Besides, I’m not from the showbiz. Even though I’m the author of the comic, I’m not one of those famous cartoonists. Few people will pay attention to me.”

“The photo of you and Rowan was posted on the Internet. Then some people found out what happened to you at school. Somehow, it became a trending topic, and then…” said Shelly. “I called you as soon as I saw the trending topic.”

But Shelly was still too late.

Hanna smiled bitterly. She didn’t expect that she would be on the trending topic because of that.

And she didn’t know what would happen to her next.

On the other side, Calvin looked at the trending topics on his phone and ordered his secretary, “Ask someone to remove all the trending topics related to Hanna, and find out who’s behind it.”

“Yes, sir,” the secretary hurriedly answered. She thought, “Isn’t this Hanna the author of the comic adaptation that Mr. Gunner asked me to let Rowan star in?”
