The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 1335

Chapter 1335

“It’s fine. We’ll just go to the bar today. Have you picked one?” said Calvin.

“Not yet,” answered Hanna.

Then 20 minutes later, Calvin stopped at the door of a bar.

Hanna knew this bar. After all, because of the setting of the male lead, she had collected information about many bars in the city on the Internet.

The bar Calvin brought Hanna to was a new popular one in the city. But because of the high entrance fee and expensive cost, it was mostly popular among rich people. Ordinary the working class and students wouldn’t come here.

But for Hanna, this bar was quite suitable for the male lead’s bar. It would be a good material for her.

The only problem was… “Will the cost be too expensive here?” asked Hanna.

“No,” Calvin replied.

But when Hanna saw the price, she immediately understood that her definition of “expensive” was obviously quite different from Calvin’s.

Hanna looked at the menu and couldn’t say anything.

Calvin seemed to have noticed Hanna’s hesitation and then said, “You order whatever you want. Don’t worry about the price.”

“But…”

“Since we’re dating, we have to match each other’s consumption level. You said you didn’t want to accept the gifts from me before for fear that we would really have feelings towards each other, and I had no problems with that. But in our daily contact and dates, if we have to care about the price of every meal or drink we take, it’ll be too tiring.”

As Calvin said, he flipped the menu, called a waiter, and directly ordered two cocktails.

After the waiter left, Calvin said, “For me, these costs are nothing. You don’t need to think about saving money for me. Compared with these small costs, what you’re helping me is more important.”

Hanna was stunned for a second. She thought, “He meant pretending to be his girlfriend.”

“Do you really think other people will believe that I’m your girlfriend?” said Hanna. Even Lorin didn’t think they were really dating and thought she was deceived.

Hanna and Calvin were in completely different worlds.

“They will,” Calvin murmured. “It’ll be fine as long as we look like we’re in love with each other.”

“It’s not that easy,” Hanna muttered.

“Is it difficult?” Calvin suddenly leaned over and stroked Hanna’s cheek with one hand. “Hanna, is it difficult to pretend to fall in love with me?”

In an instant, Hanna felt her heart beating faster. Her cheek being touched by Calvin’s palm seemed to be burning.

Calvin’s dark eyes were no longer indifferent at this moment, but a little vague and charming.

Hanna thought, “Oh my, I can really fall in love with him, let alone pretend to do so. Doesn’t he know how vague such a pose is?”

At this moment, the waiter finally came over with two glasses of cocktails, which eased Hanna’s embarrassment. She hurriedly turned her head, took the cocktail, and started to sip it.

Seeing this, Calvin stopped talking about that. He withdrew his hand an took a sip of the cocktail in front of him.

After a while, Hanna had almost finished half of the cup.

“How is it? Is it good?” Calvin asked.

Hanna nodded. She had also drunk cocktails before, but they were made by the bartender in a small bar before. They were completely different from the one she had today.

“I feel the cocktails I’ve drunk before were all fake,” said Hanna.

“You can order more if you like it,” said Calvin.

“Then can I order the one you’ve ordered later?” said Hanna. The cocktail Calvin was drinking now also looked beautiful and good.

“This one?” Calvin raised his eyebrows slightly. “This one is a little bit strong. I’m afraid it’ll be too much for you.”

“I’m actually good at drinking,” said Hanna.

“Really? That’s great,” said Calvin. Then he called the waiter and ordered another cup of cocktail exactly like his

They drank while chatting. Perhaps it was because of the alcohol, Hanna was more relaxed than usual, and the topics they talked about became more casual.

A voice suddenly sounded beside them.

“How about you buy me a drink?” The sweet voice was full of implication.

Hanna looked up and saw a woman in a tight skirt with heavy makeup. She grabbed the chair beside Calvin and sat down sexily. She was obviously talking to Calvin just now.

Hanna blinked and then looked at Calvin. She thought, “Do they know each other?”

But what Calvin said next answered Hanna’s question.

“I’m not interested in buying a drink for strangers.” Calvin was as indifferent as usual.

“Then I can buy you a drink.” That woman showed a seductive smi much better than this woman. Why do you have to drink with this of woman? Come with me, and I will make you happy…”

As the woman spoke, she raised her fingers covered with black nail po and reached to Calvin’s hand holding the glass…

Hanna was stunned for a few seconds before she realized that the woman seemed to talk about her.

Hanna thought, “I’m not that bad. Besides, is she trying to seduce Calvin? When the boyfriend is seduced by someone, the girlfriend should fight back, right?”

But before Hanna could do anything, Calvin’s glass had already pressed heavily on the back of that woman’s hand.

“Ah!” The woman let out a painful howl, but her voice was soon covered by the noisy music in the bar.

“I’m not interested in letting a woman like you touch me. If you are smart enough, get the hell out of here. Otherwise, both of your hands will be left here today,” Calvin said coldly.

Calvin’s cold voice and the sharpness in his eyes made this woman. covered with cold sweat all of a sudden.

“Do you know who I am? If you dare to do something to me, you…”

“Do I need to know who you are? If I really want to break both of

your hands, no one can stop me!” As Calvin finished speaking, he pressed the glass in his hand harder. The woman exclaimed in pain again and then stood up quickly instead of being stubborn.

“I… I’ll leave right away!” The woman begged in pain.

As soon as Calvin loosened the glass, the woman quickly withdrew her hand and strode off.
