The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 1333

Chapter 1333

At that moment, Hanna’s phone rang and then she answered it. It was Calvin.

“The opening ceremony of your drama is held in the film studio, right? I happen to be coming over for work today. Do you need me to pick you up later?” Calvin asked.

“I don’t know when it will end,” said Hanna.

“Then call me when it’s over,” said Calvin.

“Okay,” Hanna answered.

Today was the day when Calvin and Hanna were gonna have a date. They had made a deal to date three times per week. Hanna didn’t expect him to happen to be in the film studio.

But the film studio was so large that it was not easy to meet by accident unless they had decided on a specific location.

Some people who were not familiar with the route of the film studio would even get lost there.

Hanna put away her phone after the call. Shelly’s eyes lit up and said, “Was it your boyfriend?”

“Yeah,” said Hanna.

“Your boyfriend cares about you so much. You have such a handsome, considerate, mature, and wealthy boyfriend. I envy you so much,” Shelly deliberately said in an exaggerated tone.

Hanna laughed. Shelly knew what was going on between her and Calvin, so she said that just to piss Lorin off and prove that Hanna, who was abandoned by Lorin back then, was really charming and attractive.

Lorin pursed his thin lips and said, “Hanna, what’s going on with this boyfriend? You didn’t have a boyfriend a month ago. Why did you suddenly get a boyfriend who loved you so much?”

The look on Hanna’s face changed. “You investigated me?”

Lorin didn’t deny it. He said, “I just don’t want you to be fooled. Do you really know that man?”

“Mr. Esther, you don’t want Hanna to be fooled? Don’t you think that sounds so ridiculous? Weren’t you the one who deceived Hanna back then?!” Shelly said sarcastically.

Lorin’s face instantly turned pale, and then he unconsciously put down his hand that had stopped them.

Lorin’s deception was a permanent wound. “I… I just…” Lorin hadn’t stuttered for so many years.

“Mr. Esther, I’ve learned the lesson. I know clearly that my boyfriend hasn’t lied to me from the beginning to the end. He is not you. I trust him!”

Hanna’s words were like a hammer that smashed Lorin into hell. Lorin held his breath and felt that the blood in his whole body was about to freeze.

It was summer, but Lorin felt frozen.

At the opening ceremony, Hanna met Rowan. He was thinner than she saw in front of the camera. Although he was 28 years old, he still looked youthful and was quite suitable for the male lead of the comic adaptation.

After knowing that Hanna was the original author of this drama, Rowan smiled slightly and said, “I’m glad to be the male lead in the drama. I hope we’ll have a great collaboration.”

Rowan said while politely reaching out his hand.

Seeing that, Hanna hurriedly stretched out her hand to shake hands with him and said, “My pleasure.”

At this moment, a reporter took a photo of them.

Rowan was obviously used to it. He acted gracefully, but Hanna slightly blushed.

“You’re not used to the camera?” Rowan asked in a low voice.

“Yeah, I’m not used to it,” Hanna said. “Mr. Bray, you face the camera all the time, so you must be used to being photographed like this.”

Rowan smiled lightly, “Yeah. It’s been so many years. Even if I was not used to it, I am now. I heard that Ms. Zimmerman and Mr. Esther, the

CEO of Future Technology, were from the same college. Did he invest in this drama because of you, Ms. Zimmerman?”

Hanna’s face stiffened slightly and then she said awkwardly, “I’m not familiar with him. I only heard the news of him investing in this drama today.”

“Really? I thought you were good friends,” Rowan said with a smile.

Hanna pursed her lips. She and Lorin would never be friends again.

After half a day, the opening ceremony was finally over.

Hanna called Calvin and said, “Calvin, I’m almost done here.” Although they had agreed to call each other by name so that they would be more like a couple, Hanna would still be a little embarrassed every time she called him Calvin. It seemed that even her heart would beat a little bit faster.

“Okay, where is the nearest exit of the film studio around you?” asked Calvin.

“Exit B3,” said Hanna.

“Okay, I’ll wait for you at Exit B3 in ten minutes,” said Calvin.

Hanna replied to him. Ten minutes later, she arrived at the agreed exit and saw that Calvin’s car was already there.

Then Hanna hurriedly went forward and was about to walk towards th car when someone suddenly grabbed her hand and stopped her. “Do go!”

Hanna looked back and saw Lorin’s face.

“Lorin, what are you doing?” Hanna struggled and wanted to withdraw her wrist.

“Yes, I’ve deceived you, but I don’t want to see you be fooled again.” The scene of Hanna being bullied and laughed at by others had been deeply carved in Lorin’s mind all these years. Unconsciously, it had become a nightmare. “Hanna, although I don’t know why this man approached you, do you really think he is sincere to you?”

“It’s none of your business,” Hanna said angrily.

Hearing that, Lorin smiled bitterly. He thought, “How can it have nothing to do with me?” Then he said, “What if I say that it has something to do with me?”

Hanna was stunned and then looked at Lorin blankly.

“This is about me and my girlfriend. Why does it have anything to do with you?” A cold voice suddenly sounded. Calvin had already gotten out of the car and walked to them.

“Hanna used to be my girlfriend. She can become my girlfriend again at any time if she wants,” Lorin said seriously. Actually, he still hadn’t figured out his feelings for Hanna yet, but he knew that he wanted to make up for the harm he caused her before.

Lorin thought, “If Hanna agrees, I’ll treat her well and regard her as my real girlfriend this time. There will be no more deception or harm. I can also help her with her career and make her a famous cartoonist.”

Calvin’s eyes darkened. Then he looked at Hanna and said, “What do you think? Whose girlfriend do you want to be?” It was like a simple question without any emotion.
