The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 1326

Chapter 1326

Hanna picked up the pen and began to draw carefully, while Calvin looked at Hanna who was holding a pencil to draw him.

Calvin found that Hanna’s expression was the same as that when she painted him in the comic bar that day, or, more precisely, she was more intent.

Hanna once said that Calvin had a special charm that made her want to draw him on the paper.

It was really a new comment for Calvin.

Calvin asked Hanna to pretend to be his girlfriend. Every time he thought about it, he felt he was a little impulsive. After all, they didn’t know each other at all. They were just two strangers.

But… But Calvin didn’t seem to regret it.

Compared with the women who had other plans and intentions, Hanna’s “plan and intention” was simple and clear.

Most importantly, Calvin was at ease when he got along with Hanna.

Therefore, Calvin felt it was good to get familiar with Hanna first. When the time was right, he and Hanna would appear in front of Rosalie and tell her that he had let go of his feelings for her and moved on. Then Rosalie would not worry about him.

As long as Hanna could help Calvin finish his plan, Calvin would naturally give Hanna a good reward that could help her lead a carefree life when their fake relationship ended.

Hanna didn’t know how long she had been painting. The more she drew Calvin, the more careful she became. She just wanted to depict Calvin on the paper vividly, especially Calvin’s eyes which had assumed a vacant look that showed mental abstraction. It seemed that Calvin was possessed by a complicated mood at the time.

And Hanna wanted to draw that complicated mood on the paper.

When Hanna finished drawing, she found that her stomach was growling. And when she looked at the time, she found that more than two hours had passed, which was far beyond her original plan.

for too

“Heck… I’m sorry, but I have drawn you long.” Hanna apologized

quickly. “Did your hands and feet get numb? Do you need me to massage them for you?”

With that, Hanna instinctively stepped forward, intending to massage Calvin’s arm.

After all, maintaining a sitting posture for a long time would inevitably lead to poor blood circulation and local numbness.

“Are you going to give me a massage?” Calvin asked.

“Don’t worry. I’m good at it.” As a painter, Hanna had to sit for a long time to draw pictures sometimes. Therefore, her muscles were easy to get sore. She and her assistants would also help each other massage their arms or necks to relieve their soreness

Calvin raised his eyebrows slightly. Hanna suddenly found that what she just said seemed to be easy to cause ambiguity!

“Well… I-I’m not taking advantage of you. I’m really afraid that your hands and feet will get numb, so I want to help you promote blood circulation first. In the studio, my assistants and I also massage each other’s arms, shoulders, and neck,” Hanna blushed and explained.

Looking at Hanna’s flushed face, Calvin smiled unconsciously. He said, “Well, I didn’t get it wrong. My hands and feet are not so numb. Now they have returned to normal.”

“Okay… That is good,” Hanna mumbled with relief.

Calvin walked to Hanna’s easel and looked at the painting she had just drawn.

Calvin could tell that this painting was much more exquisite than the previous one Hanna drew in the comic bar. It could be seen that Hanna’s drawing skills were indeed good. This sketch was realistic. His image on the paper was vivid, especially his eyes which seemed to contain so much in them.

Calvin thought, “So this is what I look like in her eyes?”

The sound of stomach growling sounded in the air.

Calvin turned around and looked at Hanna, who was looking embarrassed.

“It’s almost time for lunch. Let’s have lunch first,” Calvin looked at the time and said.

“Let me treat you. You have served as a model for me for a long time. We almost missed lunchtime.”

“You treat me?” Calvin’s eyes glimmered with surprise.

“Well, I mean to have lunch at some regular restaurant. I can’t afford the food in the high-end restaurant,” Hanna touched her nose and added. Calvin had taken Hanna to a restaurant before and cost thousands of dollars for a meal there. Hanna could not afford to treat Calvin to lunch at such a restaurant for the time being.

“Whatever. I’m not picky about food,” Calvin said.

Hanna breathed a sigh of relief. They walked out of the studio. Hanna asked, “What do you want to eat, local delicacies or exotic foods?”

“Anything’ll do me,” Calvin said. He then caught a glimpse of a diner not far away. It was the diner where they met for the second time. He didn’t expect it to be so close to Hanna’s studio. “Do you often eat in that diner?”

“Yes,” Hanna said.

“Then go there for lunch,” Calvin said.

“There?” Hanna was stunned. The food there was only a few bucks per serving. Hanna thought it was a bit simple if she treated Calvin to lunch there.

“Is there something wrong?” Calvin looked at Hanna in a daze and asked.

“Do you think it’s not appropriate to treat you to lunch there? You know it is a cheap diner,” Hanna said.

“Of course not, and actually, we had a meal in that diner last time, didn’t we?” Calvin said.

They walked into the diner and ordered their meals separately. Hanna asked, “By the way, why did you come to this restaurant for dinner last time?”

“I happened to pass by and missed the food here, so I came in,” Calvin said.

“Miss the food here?”

“This diner was a pasta restaurant even earlier. A friend of mine once worked here, so I came to eat here sometimes,” Calvin murmured.

If Calvin had recognized that Rosalie was the person he was still looking for at that time, then he would not have made a mistake that he would regret all his life.

“You must have a good relationship with your friend.” Hanna guessed.

Calvin, however, was silent this time. He lowered his head slightly as if he was trying to restrain some feelings in his heart.

Suddenly, Hanna had a feeling that the person Calvin mentioned should be very important to him!

That was the reason why Calvin would come in and take a seat in this diner when he passed by. Calvin must miss that friend who worked in this diner many years ago very much.

Many people were talking in the diner, but there was a silence between Hanna and Calvin as if their table had been isolated.

Soon, the food Hanna and Calvin ordered was served.

Calvin ate the food elegantly, but Hanna ate quickly and greedily.

At this moment, Hanna’s phone rang. She looked at it and found that it was Shelly. “Shelly? What’s wrong?”

“I have good news for you! Didn’t I tell you that your comic book Meeting You is going to be filmed?” Shelly said.

“Yeah, what’s wrong?” Hanna was confused. Because the comic Meetin You was sold well, it was favored by some movie and television companies and was about to be filmed. However, Hanna was not a famous cartoonist after all, so even though it was about to be made in movie, only a few companies invested in it.
