Chapter 1278
Judging from the look on Riley’s face as she talked to Zephyr, she didn’t seem to care about him. This was the exact opposite of what others said about her going after Harriet to get back together with Zephyr.
On the contrary, Zephyr seemed to be both jealous and lost, as if he was abandoned by his loved one!
The reporter thought, “Could it be that Zephyr still loves Riley?”
The thought flashed through the reporter’s mind. Then he smiled and thought, “It has nothing to do with me though. All I want is the money!”
The car accident case would soon be back in court, and when Riley learned that Calvin was leaving, she and the Griffin family came to see him off.

“Yeah, I feel very lucky to be Rosalie’s friend. I wish her and her u child all the best, and I’m sure she’ll make it!” Riley said at the tho her conversation with Rosalie two days ago.

“She…” Riley was stunned, but then she thought, “It seems that Calvin doesn’t know about Rosalie’s condition. Should I tell him?”

“Answer me!” Calvin became anxious, and his eyes turned red.
Riley could only mumble, “Rosalie is not doing well, but she’s very confident that this baby will be delivered smoothly.”

Riley and the Griffin family were all stunned. They didn’t understand why Calvin left the airport while he was boarding.

Peach muttered, “Is Calvin going back to Strico?”
She just made a guess, but Riley thought that she was probably right.
After all, Riley just mentioned Rosalie and it excited Calvin. It meant that he cared about her very much.
Although Rosalie was now married and had children, Calvin was still in love with her!
Thinking of the potential impact Calvin would have on Rosalie when he went to Strico, Riley couldn’t help being regretful.
After all, if she hadn’t said those words just now, Calvin wouldn’t have decided to go to Strico.
“Let’s go back then,” Peach said.
The people who came to see Calvin off had left, so they didn’t need stay here.
“Okay.” Bruce nodded at Peach and then took a glance at Riley. “Go b to the Griffin residence with us. I want to have a talk with you about th thing you mentioned last time.”
Riley was stunned for a moment and then said with a smile, “Sure.”
Peach looked at Riley, trying to say something.
When they arrived at the Griffin residence, Bruce told the servants to leave, and there was only him, Peach, and Riley in the living room.
Bruce asked, “Are you still going to do the thing you mentioned last time You don’t have to do that even if you feel like you owe Nicholas.”
Honestly, Bruce used to hate Riley, but when he saw her trying all she could to find out the truth about the car accident, his hatred for her slowly faded away.
Besides, the person who caused this car accident was the one he should hate.
“I’m not doing this because of guilt. I’m doing it because I love Nicholas.” Riley’s voice was gentle, but she sounded very determined. “I think I’m doing something we both wanted to do.”
“You’re still young, and you can still meet another person you love,” said Bruce.
Riley smiled bitterly. “Nicholas loves me the most in the world, and I don’t want to love anyone else.”
She had given her heart to Nicholas, so she could never fall in love with another person!
“If you insist on it, you need to sign this agreement. And everything else is as you say.” As Bruce spoke, he took out an agreement.
Riley glanced at the content of the agreement and then picked up the pen without any objection, ready to sign it.
“Did you make up your mind, Riley? Although you are not bound by t law after signing this agreement, you will probably not be accepted if want to marry again later,” Peach couldn’t help reminding her.
Riley smiled faintly and said, “I have no intention of getting married again.”

For her, she was just doing what she wanted to do the most. Life was short, and she had wasted too much time, so she decided to cherish every second she lived.
After getting a call from Riley, Rosalie knew that Calvin might come back to Strico when he heard that she was not doing well with the baby.
After finishing the call, Rosalie bit her lips slightly.
She thought that Calvin should have moved on after he went abroad, but when she met him again in Lommore, she realized that he didn’t.
Rosalie didn’t know what he was going to do after he came back to Strico. She just felt a little uneasy.
After leaving the law firm, she asked the driver to send her directly to the Youngblood Group.
