The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 1273

Chapter 1273

Harriet was determined to leave. These days, she began to transfer her funds and sold some shares.

But she didn’t dare to sell them all, for fear of arousing Zephyr’s suspicion.

But even if she just sold some of them, the profits would be enough for her to have a comfortable life in the future.

On the day when they had the operation, Hendrick lay on the hospital bed, looking weak. He said to Harriet, ‘Mommy, I miss you so bad. Why haven’t you come here to see me?”

Harriet was disgusted with the boy who called her mommy in front of him and thought Hendrick looked more and more like Riley.

But she still pretended to miss him. “Don’t worry, Hendrick. Mommy’s here. I will definitely save you.”

Zephyr glanced coldly at Harriet, who pretended to be caring, then turned his head and looked at his son gently. “Boy, you need to have a good sleep. When you wake up, you will feel better.”

Hendrick nodded obediently and closed his eyes.

Zephyr said to the medical staff, “Well, it’s time to start the operation.”

Harriet was lying on another hospital bed, watching the nurse put a needle into her arm. Then her lukewarm blood began to flow into Hendrick’s body bit by bit.

If only the blood of his biological mother could save Hendrick, then h might be doomed.

However, Harriet would never tell Zephyr that Hendrick’s biological mother was Riley.

In the future, she would go abroad to enjoy life while Zephyr would face the pain of losing his son. It was really good news for Harriet.

Thinking of this, Harriet’s lips tugged into a smile.

Since Zephyr made her heartbroken, she felt it reasonable to fight back.

After a week, the blood transfusion was finally completed.

At this moment, Harriet was also very weak. After all, it was hard for ordinary people to bear the consequence of losing so much blood.

“Can I leave the hospital and go back now?” Harriet asked Zephyr.

“Are you going back now? You can rest in the hospital for a while.” Zephyr was a little surprised that Harriet couldn’t wait to leave.

“No need. I don’t want to stay in the hospital for a long time,” said Harriet. Besides, the longer she stayed, the more dangerous the situation would

Hearing this, Zephyr didn’t say anything more. He just said, “You don’t need to go back to the Scott residence. I have asked someone to pack all your things and send them back to the Summer residence. You can find it after you go back home.”

Harriet was stunned and then understood that Zephyr had already made up his mind to get-away from her.

“So, are you trying to get rid of me after using me to achieve your purpose?” Harriet said with hatred.

“You gave Hendrick your blood, and I gave you freedom. The deal is over! That’s all,” Zephyr said indifferently, looking at Harriet’s cold eyes without any feelings.

Harriet sneered, “You are still so cold-blooded. That’s it.”

This man had never cared about her. It was time for her to stop her love for Zephyr.

When Harriet returned home, she found that all his belongings had be sent from the Scott residence.

As she looked at the packages in the hall, her pretty face began to change into a villainous one. Once she tried every means to become one member of the Scott family and even committed crimes, but now she was kicked away by them.

She hated the Scott family and Zephyr Scott.

Thus, Harriet made up her mind to revenge against them.

However, the most important thing she should do at present was to leave as soon as possible before Zephyr found that her blood could not help save Hendrick.

Thinking of this, Harriet began to be busy packing her bags.

The next afternoon, Harriet walked towards the airport with her luggage.

She had booked a flight to another country. As long as she arrived

abroad, she would be completely safe.

Even if Zephyr really found the truth, nothing could put Harriet in danger.

While Harriet rushed to the airport, the doctor was talking with Zephyr about the result of Hendrick’s blood transfusion.

“The effect of the operation is not as good as we imagined. It’s even worse than the last transfusion Hendrick had. Since your wife is Hendrick’s biological mother, the result should have been better,” explained the doctor.

Zephyr suddenly narrowed his eyes and said, “How could it be?”

“Actually, the effect of this transfusion is no better than the first one. However, the last transfusion caused the most satisfying effect. Later, we will conduct further research to find out what on earth the problem is,” said the doctor.

“Further research? How long would it take?” Zephyr asked urgently because time is the most important thing for Hendrick.

What he only worried about was that his son’s condition would get worse and worse if they kept wasting time.

“We’ll finish it as soon as possible,” said the doctor. After all, it’s hard foretell the result of medical experiments.

Zephyr pursed his thin lips tightly. In fact, he understood that he co not make everything in his control.

At that moment, Zephyr’s phone suddenly rang, and the voice of one his men came from the phone. “Mr. Scott, Mrs. Scott is at the airport wi her luggage. It seems that she is going to board the plane and leave.”

Zephyr was shocked. “Is she going to leave Lommore?”

“I think so, and I suppose she is going to fly abroad according to the waiting lounge she is heading to.”

Zephyr couldn’t help frowning. He wondered, “Why does Harriet want to leave and why is she going abroad? What on earth does she want to do?”

He was also confused by the fact that Harriet’s blood was not helpful in curing Hendrick.

Anyway, Zephyr decided that he could not let her leave so easily.

“Stop her from leaving. I’ll come there soon,” said Zephyr.

“Yes, Mr. Scott.” After the man responded, he hid somewhere, planning to wait for Harriet as she was about to board and then cause some accidents to stop her.

But at this moment, the man suddenly saw a policeman coming to Harriet. The policeman and Harriet talked for a while, and then he directly handcuffed Harriet.

This scene substantially stunned the man.

He thought, “Is the policeman going to arrest Harriet? What the hell was going on?”

At the same time, Harriet was in a panic. Just now the police told her that she was thought related to Nicholas’s death. Now as a suspect, she needed to go to the police station for interrogation.

She was totally confused and wondered, “What’s going on? It has been so many years since Nicholas’s death, but why do they begin to investigate the case again?”
