Zephyr pursed his thin lips and said, “I thought she was in the hospital. How could she be gone?”
“I… My parents and I took her out of the hospital. We wanted to transfer her to another hospital, but we hadn’t arranged for it yet, so we put her in the mansion first. I didn’t expect that someone would take her away from the building.” Harriet mixed lies with the truth.
Zephyr’s expression changed. “Why did you suddenly transfer her to another hospital? Why didn’t you mention this to me?”
