Matilda smiled when she looked at herself. She was a woman, after all. No matter how old she was, she still wanted to look beautiful.
The triplets were at the manor, and so was Karina.
Jennifer saw Aiden, who had changed into a suit, and immediately went up to him. “You look good, Aido.”
Aiden returned a smile. “You look great too, Jen.”
Indeed, Jennifer, that day, wore a light purple gown with a puffy skirt and used a same-colored ribbon for her hair. The outfit, along with her lovely facial features, made her look like an elf.
Jennifer smiled with delight at the compliment. She liked the dress too, and her mother had dressed her up so beautifully. She wanted to take photos and show them to Felix.
Unfortunately, Felix was not there. Otherwise, she could’ve gone to meet Yasmin with Felix that day. At that thought, Jennifer’s bright smile dimmed slightly as disappointment rose within her.
“Okay, we’ll be departing soon.” Rosalie began to arrange the
transportation for everyone while Jonathan watched from the side with a smile.
The current Youngblood residence was no longer as bleak as before when Jonathan and his grandfather were the only occupants.
The place was lively with the addition of Rosalie and the children.
Jonathan wondered, ‘Would Grandfather regret the things he ordered Kurt to do before he passed away if he witnessed this scene?
If he never gave such orders, then the suffering and hardship between Rosalie and me would be significantly lesser.’
The group arrived at the venue of the sip and see party. It was the largest five-star hotel in Strico. Callum had reserved the entire floor for the
party.
The decor of the venue was extremely luxurious. It was apparent that Callum viewed the sip and see party with great importance.

After they entered the venue, Rosalie led Aiden, the triplets, and Karina over to see Yasmin. Amelia greeted Lillian and gave her a congratulatory present and a monetary gift. “This is a small gift from me.”
Lillian didn’t refuse. When she received it, she said to Amelia, “Amelia… Callum also invited Warren to the party.” She knew Amelia’s dislike of Warren and brought it up to Amelia so that the latter could mentally prepare herself.
Amelia smiled. “It’s fine. It’s not like he and I are enemies. Since he’s coming, Aiden can meet him.”
“That’s great. I was afraid that you would be angry,” Lillian said.
“I won’t. Warren and I will meet frequently with each other in the future for the sake of our children,” Amelia explained.
It was reasonable that Callum would invite Warren. After all, Warren lent a helping hand when Lillian was comatose.
Lillian breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, “You are so beautiful today, Amelia. For those who don’t know you, they might mistake you for a celebrity.”

Amelia said to Matilda, “Mom, sit here for a while. I’ll go get some food.”
“Okay,” Matilda answered.
Amelia walked toward the buffet table when a voice suddenly sounded.

“Amelia, why… Why are you here?”
Amelia looked up and realized it was Alicia, and beside her stood Ryan.
Alicia’s surprise was evident on her face. It was not easy for her to get a chance to participate in the banquet. Ryan had expended a lot of effort just to get the invitation, while she had also gone to great lengths to convince Ryan not to bring his wife but her to the party.

Amelia was stunned when she recognized it was Warren.
She was caught off guard by his sudden appearance.
Warren was clad in a black suit with his hair slicked back. His attire and angular face gave off a sense of seriousness and coldness.
His eyes, however, held wariness when he looked at her as if afraid that she would refuse him.
The words to reject him seemed stuck in her throat. She couldn’t get one. word out of her mouth.
Finally, she said, “My mom is waiting for me at the rest area.” She walked ahead with Warren hurriedly following her lead.
As the two of them walked side by side, they looked like a match made in heaven and gained the attention of the other guests.
