As they were about to order their food, a voice suddenly interrupted, saying, “Hey there, it’s Alicia! What a coincidence! Ryan is here as well. Do you want to say hello to him?”

Alicia stood up and said to Amelia, “Amelia, it’s a coincidence that my partner is also here for dinner today. I’ll go say hello!” Then she left with the middle-aged man and walked towards a nearby private room.
Alicia returned after some time and said, “Amelia, my partner and his friends are currently dining in the other private room. They have just placed their food order but haven’t started eating yet. It would be great if we could join them since more people means more fun!”
Amelia replied, “I don’t know those people, and it’s not a good idea to join them. As you know, I don’t like being in lively events. Today, I simply want to have a peaceful meal with you”

“If she and Alicia have two, who will use the other set of plates and cutlery?” Amelia wondered.
Inexplicably, Amelia had a bad feeling because the four men were staring at her, making her feel trapped and uncomfortable.
Amelia suspected it was a deliberate plan rather than a random coincidence today. She calmly sat down, keeping her thoughts to herself.
“Everyone, this is my friend Amelia Haab.” Alicia also introduced them, saying, “Amelia, this is Ryan Golding, my partner. The others are Anthony Waskey, Casper Mabins, and Jasper Yustone.”
Ryan smiled at Amelia and said, “Alicia has been talking about you quite a lot lately. She mentioned that you and she have been friends for many years. Since we are all gathered here for this meal today, why don’t we take this opportunity to get to know each other? I heard you’re expecting a baby, so I ordered a pregnancy-friendly dessert for you. You should give it a try.”
