Chapter 1074
“Give her to me,” the little boy said to the doctor who was holding the baby.
The doctor hesitated. She had witnessed him feeding Rosalie mere blood earlier, upon which the latter regained consciousness and gave birth to the child in one go.
However, if she were to hand the baby in her hand to the child, she would be responsible if anything happened.
“Give him the baby. I’ll take responsibility for anything that might happen!” Rosalie declared.
After the incident just now, she trusted the little boy even more. Her intuition told her that he could save her baby.
Only then did the doctor hand the baby in her arms to the little boy.
The little boy took the baby. Lowering his head, he sealed his lips against those of the baby who wasn’t breathing in his arms.
“Whoa!” Everyone who witnessed that scene couldn’t help but be surprised.
The little boy kept his lips plastered against those of the baby. On a closer look, Rosalie discovered it was not just a kiss. Instead, he seemed to be sucking something.
Finally, his lips left those of the baby. He spat to the side, but it was a mouthful of turbid secretions mixed with amniotic fluid.
The doctors and nurses were all surprised, for they had already cleared up the secretions in the baby’s throat with instruments earlier. Unexpectedly, there was still some residue left.
In the next moment, a baby’s cry rang out in the delivery room.
At that point, everyone’s heart that had been lodged in their throats finally settled back in their chests.
After hearing her daughter’s cry, Lillian passed out again with a smile on her lips.
“Lillian! Lillian, what’s wrong? Don’t scare me!” Callum shouted.

The doctor, who had been treating Lillian, interjected, “Her vitals are stable now,
Mr. White. She’s probably just too tired, so she passed out.”
Hearing that, Callum breathed a sigh of relief. “It’s all good as long as Lillian is fine!” he thought.
Callum and Lillian went to the ward first, while the newborn baby remained with the doctors for further examinations and assessments.
Rosalie and Amelia felt as though they had been in a war. But just when they were about to leave the delivery room, they noticed that the little boy was gone.
“Where is the little boy?” Rosalie asked.
In
response, Amelia shook her head. Just now, all her attention was on Lillian and the baby, so she didn’t notice where the little boy went.
As soon as they stepped out of the delivery room, Jonathan and Warren came up to them.
“Was it really that little boy who saved Lillian and the newborn baby?” Jonathan asked.
Rosalie nodded. Although she had seen it with her own eyes, she still felt befuddled, Everything seemed unbelievable.
“By the way, did you see that little boy come out?” Rosalie queried.
“Yes. A few men took him away,” Jonathan answered.
“He was taken away?” Rosalie was stunned.
“The men were very much respectful to him, so they were probably se by his family. I reckon his identity is not simple,” Jonathan said. Then, glanced at the time. “All right, it’s quite late now. Let’s eat first. The doct said Lillian would probably be out for a while.”
It was only then that Rosalie realized that matter. She looked at Amelia apologetically. “I’m sorry to have kept you hungry, Amelia.”
She didn’t care about it, but Amelia was pregnant then, so it was not good to go hungry.
“I was so anxious that I didn’t feel hungry. Fortunately, Lillian and the baby are safe now,” Amelia said.
“Yeah, they’re safe now,” Rosalie echoed gladly.
Chapter 1074
The four of them went to a restaurant near the hospital. Rosalie and Amelia ordered the food while Jonathan occasionally chimed in beside them. Only Warren remained silent throughout it all, wearing an
expression as cold as ice.
When Rosalie and Amelia went to the restroom after ordering, Rosalie asked, “What’s wrong? Did you have a fight with Warren?”
“No.”
“Then, why has he been looking so grim? It’s as though it’s the end of the world,” Rosalie said.
“He always looks very serious, so you can just ignore him,” Amelia replied.
At that moment, Jonathan and Warren were also chatting in the private
room.
“Why, you’re worried about Amelia after seeing Lillian suffer from dystocia today?” Jonathan asked.
Warren’s expression changed slightly, finding the man in front of him too keen, for he could seemingly see through others easily. “Callum should have been well-prepared. But still, such a thing happened. If it weren’t for that little boy, both Lillian and the baby would’ve died today.”
“Yeah, it’s all thanks to that little boy. That’s why money is not all-powerful sometimes. Childbirth is having a foot in the grave to women,” Jonathan commented.
It was also for that reason that he went to the hospital and had a vasectomy right after Rosalie returned to his side this time.
Although the doctor said it was exceedingly unlikely for Rosalie to get pregnant again, he didn’t want to take that chance.
“A foot in the grave?” Warren murmured.
A while later, Rosalie and Amelia returned, and the dishes were served one after another.
The four of them began to have dinner.
After eating, they all went back to the hospital. However, Lillian was still asleep and had yet to wake up.
Meanwhile, the newborn baby was under observation in the neonatal
intensive care unit for the time being. If everything was fine after twenty-four hours, she would be brought back to the ward.
Callum looked at Rosalie and said, “Thank you so much for bringing the child over today. If he weren’t here, things would be different now.”
“He appeared outside the delivery room by himself and said he could save Lillian. Nothing could be done, so I tried it as a last resort. Fortunately, things ended up positively,” Rosalie said.
“Really?” Confusion showed on Callum’s face. “Previously, Lillian mentioned that a little boy said she was pregnant with a girl as he stared at her belly. Was it the same person?”
“Yes, it was him,” Rosalie affirmed. “I can’t shake off the feeling that he’s no ordinary child. Or perhaps he has a fated connection to Lillian.”
They all conversed for some time. Then, Callum said, “Thank you, everyone. It’s uncertain when Lillian will wake up. I will stay and spend the night here. You guys go back and rest first.”
“Okay, then. Just say the word if you need anything,” Jonathan uttered.
Subsequently, the four left the ward. Looking at Amelia, Rosalie asked, “Are you going back now, Amelia?”
“Yes, but you two don’t have to give me a ride. I can…”
But before Amelia could finish speaking, Warren interrupted her. “I’ll send her back.”
