The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike Chapter 1014

Chapter 1014

That was already a direct threat.

The homeroom teacher hurriedly appeased the couple with all sorts of sweet-sounding words. After all, they were the school’s esteemed patrons. As they would donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to the school every year, even the principal was very respectful toward them.

Besides, if they really joined hands with other parents to go on a strike, she would be the one affected at that time, as the homeroom teacher.

Therefore, despite knowing the truth of the matter at that very moment, the homeroom teacher still said to Amelia, “Hurry up and apologize to them, Ms. Haab. Otherwise, I can only tell the principal that Aiden is not suited to study here and have you transfer to another school.”

Amelia hugged Aiden, grief flooding her.

She knew better than anyone how hard it had been to get her son into a regular school.

“Aiden was supposed to be born into privilege and enjoy good health. But because of me, he has to suffer so much at a young age. And now… we’re being forced to apologize. Once we do, it’d be tantamount to admitting that it was his fault. But he didn’t do anything wrong!” she lamented inwardly.

Rosalie was about to interject when Amelia spoke ahead of her. “I’ll never apologize. Nor will I ask my son to do so. I believe what my son said, and he did nothing wrong in this!”

“Have you thought it through, Ms. Haab? If you don’t apologize, I won’t be able to help plead for you!” the homeroom teacher said.

At that, Amelia snickered. “Since you are a teacher, you should get to the bottom of things instead of favoring one party. Those who are ignorant might even think that you are their representative!” “How dare you!” The homeroom teacher’s face abruptly flushed bright red.

Meanwhile, the mother of the boy who fought with Aiden snorted coldly. “Even if you apologize, it won’t do you any good. My child doesn’t want to be in the same classroom with a child from such a family.” Lillian was so angry that she wanted to roll up her sleeves and tear into her regardless of her bulging belly. Suddenly, a voice rang out from the doorway. “In that case, you can just leave the school.” Everyone in the administration office swung their eyes in the direction of the voice, only to see a tall figure walking into the room. The man was dressed in a suit and leather shoes that set off his striking face that carried a hint of femininity. It was none other than Callum.

As soon as Lillian saw Callum, she was overjoyed. “Callum!”

Callum walked to Lillian. Lifting a hand, he gently stroked her red eyes. “Your eyes are red. What’s going on here? Are they trying to kick Aiden out of the school?”

“Yeah. They’re simply going too far.” After saying that, Lillian briefly explained the chain of events to

Callum.

Callum swept his gaze over the homeroom teacher and the couple coldly. “Indeed, they’re going too far.” Although he was not particularly fond of Aiden, he knew that Lillian loved the child with impaired hearing very much. Naturally, he could allow others to pick on the boy like that.

Following that, the homeroom teacher said with displeasure written all over her face, “This is the administration office. Since you all are not parents, please step out first. I’m only going to talk to the parents.” Evidently, she wanted to kick Rosalie, Lillian, and Callum out.

“Really?” Callum took out his phone and made a call right away. He said to the person at the other end of the phone, “This is Callum White speaking. Something cropped up here on my side. Have the principal of this school come to the administration office.”

Then, Callum uttered the name of the school.”

The other boy’s mother regarded Callum as though he was a fool. “Who do you think you are? The principal won’t be the principal anymore if he can be summoned at will.”

The homeroom teacher also looked at Callum angrily, convinced he was there to make trouble. “Please leave immediately, sir. Otherwise, I will call the security guard over.”

09:59

Only the other boy’s father stared at Callum’s face, feeling that he seemed to have seen the man somewhere.

He mused soundlessly, “When he made the call earlier, he introduced himself as Callum White. White…” Suddenly, his eyes gradually widened. It was as though he had thought of something mind-boggling.

At that precise moment, the principal rushed into the administration office. After sweeping his gaze over the people in the room, he immediately walked toward Callum. After all, there were only two men there. One was the boy’s father, who donated money to the school every year, and he recognized him.

The principal hastened over to Callum. “You must be Mr. White, yes? I’m the principal of this school. I’m sorry, but what happened that you asked me to come over?”

The principal’s attitude surprised the homeroom teacher. She hurriedly stepped forward. “Who’s this Mr. White here?”

“Mr. White is the chairman of the White Maple Group. What happened here?” the principal asked.

When the homeroom teacher heard that, her face abruptly paled, and cold sweat started beading on her forehead. “This… is just a minor misunderstanding.”

The homeroom teacher might not know the name of the White Maple Group’s chairman, but she had heard of the company. “Gosh, it’s the White Maple Group! But then, I’d never expected such a big shot to show up here!” she exclaimed internally.

Realizing had also seemingly dawned on the parents of the students then. They blanched, their expressions turning awkward.

“The chairman of the White Maple Group? Oh God, how could this have happened? Doesn’t this deaf boy only have a mother running a concession stand? Why would such a woman have the chairman of the White Maple Group backing her up?” they wondered.

“From what I heard just now, it’s no misunderstanding,” Callum countered with a half-smile. Then, he told the principal about the matter he heard from Lillian earlier. “This child of my friend has a hearing impairment, but the teacher in your school feels that parents should discriminate against someone with hearing impairment. Although the child wasn’t in the wrong, he was forced to apologize and was almost expelled because of his hearing problem. If this were reported by the media, you should know its impact on the school.”

Hearing that, the principal could only flash him an apologetic smile awkwardly. “How could there be such a thing? Our school treats all students equally.”

At that moment, the other student’s parents hurriedly interjected, “It was a mix-up! It was just a misunderstanding! It was our child’s fault, and we apologize. As for the medical expenses, just name your price. We’ll definitely pay!”

After saying that, the couple hurriedly pulled their son over to apologize to Aiden and Amelia. However, Aiden and Amelia would never accept such an apology. Aiden even took a step back with obvious demurral on his face.
