“No, I don’t want to,” Felix responded in his meek voice.
“Why would you stay here? As far as I know, many people here call you a criminal’s son. In the Youngblood family, you’re in an embarrassing situation. What’s good about this place? When you return to Lommore, you’ll be the son of the Serton family and be respected by others. Maybe you’re still young and don’t understand what that identity means. At that moment, Rosalie’s promise was the biggest support for a child like Felix.
Wyatt stared at Felix as a trace of displeasure flashed in his eyes. “Ms. Leighton? Rosalie Leighton? It seems that you’ve been tamed by the Youngblood family after staying there for a few days! After a while, a kindergarten teacher came in and took Felix back to the classroom. She let him the little bed during lunch break as if nothing had happened. Only the note in Felix’s hand reminded him of what had happened earlier.
When Wyatt walked out of the kindergarten, he saw another car parked beside his car. At that moment, a figure came out of the car. It was Jonathan, the most difficult man to deal with in Strico.
Surprise flashed across Wyatt’s eyes. Then, he understood the situation.
At that moment, Felix resided in the Youngblood residence. Wyatt investigated Felix carefully without alerting anyone. However, Jonathan was no ordinary person.
Jonathan parted his lips and spoke. “I’ve heard about you, Mr. Serton, but I hadn’t gotten the chance to meet you before. I didn’t expect to bump into you here. I wonder why you came to this kindergarten. Are there any children from the Serton family studying here?”
As soon as Jonathan said that, Wyatt realized that the former probably knew everything.
