I hadn’t heard from Neil for almost half a month, either in the real world or online.

I flipped through the invite. Neil and Bonnie’s engagement party was at the end of next month.
The name ‘Neil’ on the invite was printed in a uniform font; it was very conspicuous. I suddenly remembered that when we were getting married, I wrote the names and dates on our invites.
I used to think that writing invites for our wedding was the happiest thing.
“What the hell are we going to that for?!” Barbara snatched the invite and tore it up, tossing it on the ground. “Bonnie, can’t you have a little shame?”

Outside the car window, Bonnie was running towards the Maybach. Neil got out of the car and let her jump into his arms. It was quite a sweet scene.

Suddenly, someone knocked on my window. It was Bonnie; her face was pressed against the glass. All I could see of Neil In my peripheral vision were his legs and waist.
