All she could do was stare at Ye Moxuan, who was within a short reach, with her beautiful eyes.
Her eyes were crystal clear, as though they could talk.
Ye Moxuan’s gaze was eerily deep, like the eyes of a wolf that shone in the dark, as though he would pounce on her any moment, and completely devour her.
Shen Qi was startled and thought about escaping.
But his big hand was already placed on her waist when she attempted to escape, then he pulled her closer to himself and pressed her head with another hand. He turned the tide and kissed her passionately.

Shen Qi was sitting right on top of him, her lips swollen as a result of the brutal kiss. She looked at him with her watery eyes.
“You said that you would return my phone if I kissed you.”
“Did I?” Ye Moxuan said.
Shen Qi was flabbergasted. “You’re eating your own words?”
“Did anyone hear it? Why do you care so much? Is there anyone in your contact list you badly need to reach?” Ye Moxuan lowered his head and lightly bit on her fair neck. “Let me guess. Is it your ex husband or… Ye Linhan?”
“No!” Shen Qi bit her lip as she scrambled to come up with excuses. “My family members’ numbers are all on the phone, and there’s some money on my electronic wallet. Can you give it back to me?”
Ye Moxuan was speechless as he didn’t expect she would come up with such excuses.
“Do you think I will believe you?”
“I don’t get it. Why do you want to confiscate my phone all of a sudden?”
He never touched her phone before. She wondered what got into Ye Moxuan that night that he suddenly wanted to confiscate her phone. Did he find out about it?
Ye Moxuan’s gaze turned cold, then he pushed Shen Qi onto the bed.
“Your phone is obsolete. It will disgrace me.”
He turned around and left in his wheelchair after he finished.
“Then return it to me. I will get a new one myself!” Shen Qi was desperate. She got up from the bed at once and chased after him.
Ye Moxuan halted in his wheelchair. He squinted and said, “Do you so badly want your phone back?”
Shen Qi stood there without uttering any word.
“I will give it back to you when I’m in a good mood.”
Shen Qi was made speechless.

If the situation allowed it, Shen Qi would definitely pounce on him and give him a good bash. But she couldn’t, because the more she cared about the phone, the more unlikely he would return her phone.

Shen Qi changed into the said dress but did not go straight to the company. Instead, she went to a convenience store and made a call to Han Xueyou. “Xueyou, I’m Shen Qi.”

“Xueyou, something happened. My phone has been confiscated by Ye Moxuan,” Shen Qi said nervously.
“Why? What happened?”
Shen Qi looked around anxiously as she bit her lip. “I don’t know. He was okay before. But something got into him and he suddenly confiscated my phone. I’m worried that he might have found out about something.”
