Nothing To Give But My Heart Chapter 960

“Yeah?” Han Muzi was perplexed when she heard that. “What did he do in your dream?”

Yan slightly cleared her throat and lowered her head shyly as she whispered, “I dreamed that he explained to me that he didn’t abandon me, and that I’ve misunderstood him.”

“So?”

“So… I decided to forgive him in my dream!”

Han Muzi was confused by the turn of events.

So… this lady thinks that everything that had happened last night is just a dream? Not only is she treating it like a dream, she even forgives Han Qing, and now, her love for him has rekindled?

“I know that you will definitely laugh at me. But… the dream last night felt so real as if it had actually happened. At that moment, I felt that if I try my best and I can get Han Qing to be nicer to me even if just a little, I will feel content.”

Seeing Yan this way, Han Muzi suddenly wondered if she should tell her about what had exactly happened last night.

Should I tell her that the dream that she is talking about right now isn’t a dream? It had actually happened.

However, Yan was probably confused due to her fever. On top of that, she had drunk a lot, so she thought that it was a dream.

Sigh…

At that moment, Han Muzi suddenly felt sorry for Yan.

“Muzi, are you secretly laughing at me?”

Yan’s voice brought her back to reality.

Han Muzi came back to her senses and shook her head. “Of course not. Why would I laugh at you?”

It was a serious matter to like someone.

If she laughed at Yan because of this, what would she have become?

“As long as you don’t laugh at me, it’s fine. I don’t care if others do so, as long as you don’t laugh, I’m happy enough!”

Her words made Han Muzi feel touched as she didn’t think that she would be so important to Yan. Just when she was feeling this way, Yan suddenly said, “You are his sister, after all. If you think that I’m a joke, I won’t stand a chance.”

Han Muzi paused before saying, “So… you care about how I perceive you just because I’m his sister?”

Yan smiled in embarrassment. She stretched out her hand to hug Han Muzi’s arms as she moved closer to her.

“Oh, don’t bother with the details! You know very well that I didn’t mean that. Even if you’re not Han Qing’s sister, I still care about your thoughts a lot.”

Upon hearing that, Han Muzi couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows. Then, she said jokingly, “If I ask you to give up on Han Qing, will you listen to me?”

When Yan heard that, she tensed up immediately. “M-Muzi…”

“How about it?”

Seeing Han Muzi’s serious look, Yan’s face fell slowly as she stuttered, “D-D-Don’t tell me that you are serious.”

When Han Muzi didn’t reply, Yan became flustered and grabbed her hands as she shook her head vigorously. “I can do anything you ask of me, Muzi, but on this matter, I… just can’t do this for you. I’m sorry.”

Seeing Yan’s distressed look, Han Muzi felt that if she continued, Yan would probably cry in front of her.

After thinking about it, Han Muzi decided against fooling around with Yan further, so she smiled and said, “Alright. I’m just joking around with you. You think that I would ask you to do such a thing? We are best friends. I can’t possibly restrict your rights to like other people.”

Yan blinked. “Is it true? You’re saying that… that I can continue to like Han Qing?”

“This is your freedom. I won’t intervene.”

“Muzi, you’re too kind! We have to always be the best of friends! Even though I might not be your sister-in-law in the future, we must stay as close as we are right now!”

Her emotions had gotten the better of her as Yan hugged Muzi after she finished speaking.

Han Muzi was hesitating whether or not she should tell Yan about what had happened the night before.

If she told her that, Yan would probably be even happier right now. However, it was equivalent to betraying her own brother if she did that.

After pondering about it, Han Muzi decided against telling her.

After all, no matter it was a dream or reality, Yan had made up her mind.

On top of that, Han Muzi could tell that even though Han Qing had rejected her umpteen times, Yan’s feelings for him didn’t get any weaker. Instead, the feelings had gotten even stronger.

If it was possible, she really wanted to advise Yan not to be so stubborn anymore.

There are so many more fishes in the sea; why does she insist on this particular one?

However, she suddenly thought of the fact that she had never forgotten Ye Moxuan for the past five years too. Since she was also stubborn in love, what right did she have to ask others to give up on love?

After they chatted for a while more, Yan got up to leave.

Han Muzi got up to brush her teeth. After that, as she was preparing to call Ye Moxuan, the doorbell suddenly rang.

When she went to open the door, she saw Xiao Su and Little Bean standing outside the door.

“Mommy!”

When Little Bean saw Han Muzi, he ran to hug her happily and rubbed his cheeks on her thighs. “Good morning, Mommy!”

“Morning, sweetie.”

Han Muzi stretched out her hand to caress Little Bean’s head, but she was looking in the direction behind Xiao Su. When she didn’t see the person she had been waiting for, she felt quite disappointed and asked, “Where’s Moxuan?”

Xiao Su said after a slight pause, “Good morning, Young Lady.”

“Morning, Xiao Su. Why didn’t Moxuan arrive with you?”

Before Xiao Su arrived, he had already thought of an excuse and immediately explained, “Last night, before Young Master Ye fell asleep, he mentioned that he wanted to pick up Little Young Master to send him back here. Hence, in the morning, when he is still asleep, I woke up earlier to bring Little Young Master back here. I haven’t told him about this.”

It was quite a convincing excuse. After all, Xiao Su had been with Ye Moxuan for a long time, and he had always been very thoughtful.

It was quite normal for him to wake up earlier to get something done furtively so that Ye Moxuan could get more rest.

Hence, Han Muzi didn’t suspect anything and even smiled at Xiao Su, saying, “It’s been hard on you. You and Yan came from so far away, yet we asked you to stay at a hotel and do these things…”

“Young Lady, don’t blame yourself. I’m Young Master Ye’s assistant after all. It’s natural for me to handle these things. By the way, how’s Yan?”

Although he went out with Ye Moxuan during the night, he was worried about Yan all the time.

If I wasn’t worried that Ye Moxuan’s life might be in danger, I would have stayed back to take care of Yan, that silly girl.

Upon hearing him mentioning Yan, Han Muzi looked at Xiao Su with a hint of suspicion. “She’s up now. Do you want to talk to her?”

“Sure.”

Xiao Su nodded and walked into the room quickly to look for Yan after he changed his shoes.

Meanwhile, Han Muzi held Little Bean’s hand as they went into the house. After Xiao Su had left, Little Bean raised his head and asked, “Mommy, does Mr. Xiao like Aunt Yan?”

Upon hearing that, Han Muzi stopped in her tracks and shook her head. “I’m not quite sure.”

“Mommy, if Mr. Xiao takes Aunt Yan away with him, is she not going to be my real aunt anymore?”
