“Is this your aim for your marriage to me?” Ye Moxuan took a glance at the credit card. “Ha! The old man is so generous, but do you deserve this much money?”
Shen Qi clenched her fists and bit her lip. “It is not as you think. Can you listen to my explanation?”
“Do you want to explain how you convinced the old man to pay you willingly? Perhaps you really can explain it to me, with physical action.”

Ye Moxuan glared at her coldly. “You are quite skillful in bed, aren’t you?”

Shen Qi finally burst out in anger and growled loudly as her gaze cast downward, “Enough! I have had enough of you!”

Shen Qi bent down to pick up the credit card on the floor. She walked to Ye Moxuan and tossed the card roughly onto his lap.
“I’ve said that I won’t take any of your money. Likewise, I won’t take any money from the Ye Family either. This card belongs to your grandfather, so take it back!”
The credit card dropped onto Ye Moxuan’s lap, where he picked it up and held it at the tips of his fingers, his face stony.

A helpless sigh came from over her. Shen Qi opened her eyes and saw a pair of gloomy eyes full of concern looking at her.
Ye Linhan? Why is he here? Shen Qi stared at the man in front of her with teary eyes. A stark contrast from him in the day, Ye Linhan’s eyes were full of sorrow in the dark, as if his heart ached for her.

Shen Qi froze while looking at Ye Linhan and this time, his figure seemed to be blurred by the tears in her eyes. Immediately, her tears surged wildly as she could no longer bear the resentment in her heart.
Ye Linhan smiled gently and comforted her. “You have to tell when you’re in pain and let the people around you know that you’re suffering. No one will understand you if you keep everything to yourself.”
