George, who was standing aside, squinted his eyes strangely after hearing his words. Duanmu Xue is injured? How did that happen? He gave Ye Moxuan a look, as though he wanted to ask him.
However, he knew what he should do now, so he went up to Old Master Yuchi hurriedly to move away the cane and smiled. “Grandfather Yuchi, don’t be so angry. This stick is not light at all. Hearing his words, Yuchi Jin bellowed, “It’s good if he is hurt. That way, he can finally understand how much wrong he has done.”
George continued smiling. “Grandfather Yuchi, even if he was wrong, you can still punish him after understanding the situation clearly. Seeing you hit him like this, even I feel aggrieved for Xuan, never mind him.”
Yuchi Jin squinted his eyes after listening to him. “You feel aggrieved for him?” He put away his cane while looking at George. Then, he gave Ye Moxuan a glare before he scoffed. “What’s there to be aggrieved of? Xue is already injured like this. Try telling me yourself what is there to be aggrieved of.”
The hit was a painful one, but Ye Moxuan remained emotionless, as if that hit didn’t land on him at all.
He pursed his lips and gave Yuchi Jin a cold look. “Grandfather, do you know what happened last night?”
As he mentioned about last night, Yuchi Jin could feel his rage erupting. “How would I not know? I let you in to see Xue, and you injured her before running away.” As he finished, Yuchi Jin threw his cane aside straight away as he sat down. It was obvious that he was furious.
Seeing his expression, Ye Moxuan squinted his eyes. Looks like grandfather doesn’t know that I was drugged. If I let him know that Duanmu Xue, who he values highly, did something this despicable, what will he feel?
Thinking about it, Ye Moxuan quirked up the corners of his mouth and revealed a vague smile.
Yuchi Jin just so happened to see it, so he grinded his teeth. “You brat. What are you smiling for?”

Actually, Yuchi Jin did listen to Yu Bo’s words, but he just couldn’t figure out what Duanmu Xue could have done to anger his grandson so much that he injured her.
Ye Moxuan’s eyes and expression were cold and indifferent when he said to him casually, “Last night, I, your grandson, almost ended up in the hospital.”
